    Thanks for the info folks.

Mr SA only phoned me once today so imagined he was busy doing DD's furniture. Imagine my disappointment when I got home to find wardrobe parts all over and the only thing put together was 3 small drawers. Apparently he doesn't want DD to help him he's waiting for me to be off at the weekend.

My reply to that was most definitely not fit for publishing :(

    Not a happy bunny :(

Have spoken to DD and she confirmed Mr SA didn't want her to help. I've told her to help him despite what he says because there is no way I'm spending my weekend putting furniture together, especially after looking after the grandkids on Saturday.

I honestly believe we'll never get straight. It's driving me mad, I can't cope with clutter. Everything feels out of control :(

The penny has just dropped that if I'm meeting friends tomorrow I'll need to write out Christmas cards!!! No idea where my cards are!

Storm Caroline hit on the walk home and I got soaked in the hail storm :(

On a separate note, I need to paint a cream bedside chest white to save money buying a new one (plus this one is too good quality to scrap). I think it's MDF - is this easy to do and how?

    Thanks
Really easy - i paint everything insight every time i decorate :D

Lightly sand all over (especially the top - clean with sugar soap after sanding - a good couple of coats of primer.
Then choose your colour. I usually go for Ronseal Wood colour - its lovely - like a satin / or eggshell.

Just done my fire surround from an Antique pine - to Grey - looks amazing ;););)

Well surely meeting friends is a good excuse not to be forced into helping Mr SA!

Enjoy it - I'm going to the Christmas Markets tomorrow with a friend and I'm really excited about it!

Thanks for the tip Little Miss Winner, will try that.

Had a lovely morning shopping - got the Soap & Glory - plus a lovely lunch with friends.

Got home - Mr SA and DD have spent all day putting together the wardrobe and desk. Desk is fine but the wardrobe collapsed after they put it up and is in several pieces :( Looking at the reviews for it on the Argos website people have said it's easy to put up. Anyway I've messaged them via FB, see what they say.
