Up early today, got loads to do before we go to local leisure centre Christmas market this afternoon. DS is bringing the grandkids and Santa will be there. Got a colour developing on my hair right now to brighten it up a bit.

Really need to look at finances as went a bit mad on Friday. VSP will be closed off and moved into current account for the rest of the Christmas spends - already spent a good portion of it and not too much more to get now. Will start building up next year's on payday. I'm really glad I started doing this as it always covers Christmas without having to worry where the extra money is coming from.

Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

Had a nice time at the Christmas market. Mr SA was worse than the grandkids and ended up with a wallet and something I'm not sure what it is but it's black and furry with a smiley face - originally bought for GS but he didn't like it. It's now stuck on the front of Mr SA's scooter!

The best thing about it was everything on the stalls was cheap, a lot was handmade, I hate it when you go to local markets and everything is expensive.

Mr SA and DS were happy to park themselves with a pint in the bar while DS OH and I took the kids to see Santa which was just £1.50 each including a present!

This time last year my leg was in plaster. Still not 100% and still swollen :(

Sounds like you had a grand time :D

I don't understand folks who don't like camping... but then, I were brought up with it, as my Dad and my Uncles (his brothers and my Mum's) were all ex-military and by time I was 16 I think I had been across every moor and up every hill / mountain in Scotland and had camped out in all weathers in all seasons.
THAT experience really stood by me in later life... needless to say, I still love being outdoors and camping :D

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Uncanny Scot re camping, it's a hair thing, men don't usually worry about where to plug in their hair drier/heated rollers :)

So - this coming week have Tuesday off for Christmas shopping and work team Christmas meal on Friday. Christmas starts here :xmastree:

Re the black furry thing - watch that the dog doesn’t get jealous - he likes sitting on the scooter doesn’t he?:D

Glad though you had a Christmassy nice day with the grandkids. Sorry to hear about the ankle though - must be so maddening.
