He's fine tonight thankfully. No excuses but I know he gets frustrated about not being able to do much.

Well Mr M did me a favour by not having the coffee pods as they're on offer and much cheaper in Mr S, so stocked up :)

Have gone through everything in the freezer tonight, listing it and using it as a basis for next week's meal plan. I've also picked out some recipes from my WW magazine to try. The penny has only just dropped that I need to meal plan before I do the online shop.

Work is manic at the moment - my to do list is growing at a rate of knots!!!!

Maybe not for much longer - he's decided he wants to start swimming again. Last time he went the lifeguard had to get him out, even though he had the carer with him. I can't swim and I'm terrified of deep water, after nearly drowning when I was younger, so I can't accompany him. Ideally he wants to go in the day when I'm at work. Although I'm glad he wants to do something other than watch TV and sleep.

Went to the gym at lunchtime, had a NSD and did finances tonight :T

DD's wardrobe arrived today so that's yet another two boxes in the already full of boxes dining room.

Had an invite from a friend who moved to the coast a couple of years ago to say she'll be in the area on Friday and do I want to go for a drink. I didn't need asking twice

  • It's just as well you're going to work SA so you can't see what Mr SA is getting up to in the swimming pool . Ignorance may be bliss :rotfl:

But lovely to be asked for a drink.
You will need one by Friday.

He used to be a good swimmer pre illness but because of the brain damage he's lost the knack. It's weird, he can't remember how to swim.

Drink is Friday lunchtime. I have to do all my socialising at lunchtime unfortunately.

  • The swimming might do him good as long as someone can keep an
eye on him. He sounds like he needs something to focus on - apart from sleep and TV as you say!

Could DD not sit in with Mr SA on Friday night so you could see your friend in the evening? You sound like you’ll have to rush your drink lunchtime because you’ll have to get back to work - and you haven’t seen her for a while.
