No not recently. Was told by the physio it would take up to a year but because of my age it might never fully recover. To be honest I cover about 20k steps a day so don't do bad with it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Don't want to be a debbie downer but my younger sister (21 now) Broke her ankle and needed pins and total resetting in both sides at 18 (She was going on a night out and went over on her heels and completely snapped both sides  and she was sober!) Anyway she had the rods etc and cage on and even now 3 years later it swells and is uncomfortable when it's cold. So I think sometimes it just takes a while after such a bad injury.
Holiday is so close now! Make sure you get some time to rest x0 -
I've got a plate and 8 screws one side and 2 screws the other side. For those who don't know I broke it both sides plus dislocation plus almost open fracture. I'm not expecting it to ever recover fully to be honest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Happy Saturday everyone
Well the coffee morning went really well despite my fears - we sold out of cakes in less than an hour!! We collected nearly £500 for MacMillan
Payday yesterday, all new budgets put in place. No savings this month as have to pay off holiday spending money from Ibiza which I put on my M&S card. It will be the same story next month but should be able to start putting some money away from November.
Joined the October challenge, although will be AWOL for a week while I'm on holiday but no excuses before an after!
VSP now holds £643.94. CC paid off. Money all sitting in budgets. Feel very organised at the moment. Determined to stick to it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well done on the savings! and amazing amount raised!
You should be proud
Have a lovely weekend x0 -
Mr SA has been painting again. Paint on my coat and the new kitchen chair - luckily wiped off eventually.
Ordered a skip for next week. Got loads to put in it and DD can clear out her room while we're away ready for plastering.
Looking forward to a few days pottering at home before holiday. Got plenty to do.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
That's a very good amount to raise from the coffee morning :T.
Perhaps you need to coat the entire interior of your house in cling film until Mr SA has finished painting :rotfl:Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
