Mr Splash the painter has been up to his tricks again and there is now paint in the bed

On the plus side we will be getting a new bed in due course but still ...

It wouldn't be so bad if I could see a result but I honestly can't see what he's painted.

Very spendy day today, bought the euros for Lanzarote. Boarding passes printed - just got to book the mobility scooter. Can't believe it's a week tomorrow.

2 more work get ups :j

IN the bed Beanie!! Luckily it's dry now so won't wake up a different colour.

No paint mishaps today BUT Mr SA threw away the dressing gown I bought him earlier this year which he has never worn. Literally in the bin! Told him it should've gone in the charity bag.

In other news, have had a manic day at work, visit from big chief, my job to meet and greet, lots of office meetings.....

    And breathe.

Tomorrow is the MacMillan coffee morning, which I've organised. Fingers crossed it will be a success. Keep having nightmares no one will bring cakes or turn up to buy cakes! Potentially over 1000 people could turn up which is why I'm worried

There won't be any more NSDs this month. Spent £4 in Poundland then had to get the bus home as my ankle was swollen, so another £2. I'd been on my feet a lot today plus had a 2 mile run on treadmill in the work gym at lunchtime so must've overdone it.

Anyway, tomorrow is payday, Friday and break up from work day plus this time next week we'll be in Lanzarote :j

  • Make sure you rest your ankle this evening SA. Is this the same ankle that got broken?

Good luck with the coffee morning, I'm sure loads of people will turn up.

Yes it's the broken ankle Hairy. It's still quite swollen most of the time 10 months on.

  • Shame that its still weak. I guess it just takes time to heal fully. Have you seen a doctor about it recently?
