Sounds like a good day for u SA? I am also having to control my spending more now as I've decided to quit one of my jobs in August. It's my school job as a mid day assistant. I am increasing the hours in my other job in a supermarket. I do waste money and need to be more careful. Like u it will be worth it in the end.

Have done calculations and provided I stick to my budgets, there's no reason why it shouldn't work. We'll still be able to go on holiday and save. It will make me pull my socks up. I've stressed the importance of this to Mr SA as you know what he's like with his lists of things he wants. Already on his list: he's broken yet another gold cross off his chain (the second one in a year) and his electric toothbrush has stopped working (no longer under guarantee) plus the camping chair!!

Yesterday was a low spend day £5.65 on milk and fruit from local shop. Today should be the same - Zumba £3.50 that should be it.

Up a bit later today as have cervical screening at 8am, will be glad to get that over and done with.

Pouring with rain at the moment :(

Hope everyone has a good day.

To clarify, when I 'liked' the above post, I was in no way 'liking' your cervical screening.... I just hope it was over quickly :rotfl:

And that the rain stops soon!!

How exciting that your house plans are all coming together SA.

Hope the appointment this morning wasn't too horrendous. I always think the thought is worse than just getting it over with!! xx

Appointment over and done with quickly thankfully.

Horrendous bus journey to work, packed, everywhere soaked, traffic slow.

Not told Mr SA yet but I've got to go to London again next Thursday, not staying overnight but won't be home until about 7pm. Fortunately I've got the Friday off work to recover.

As predicted low spend day of £3.50 for Zumba. Ticked a few boxes today - 1/12 workouts, 4/15 over 16,000 steps days and (drum roll) AFD 1/12 :)

Can you believe the handle snapped on my washing machine door last night. Washing trapped inside it and of course today was a fab drying day :(
Fortunately, have insurance on it and it's being fixed tomorrow. Washing will be set free!

Have got alcohol free red wine tonight - mmm, not sure if I like it.

    Boo to washing machine.
Have to say I quite like a lowish alcohol rose from M & S.
