I do hope Mr SA is OK and hasn't hurt anything (or spilt any of that good ale he likes ;D )
ALDI have some really nice camping chairs with attached side tables just now, can't remember how much they are though...BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Thanks Uncanny Scot - he's trashed so many camping chairs hence the extra strong one but not lasted any longer. Our local charity shop sell the ordinary ones for £5 so that will be the next purchase, no point paying a lot. He used to be a roofer and run up and down ladders all day but since he became disabled he's put on 4 stone - the result of a good appetite, no exercise and a love of beer! He didn't spill any beer by the wayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Weather dire here today. Raining on and off all day. Not happy about it to say this time last week it was red hot
Small-ish spend of £7 in Mr T Express today. Not been anywhere other than local shop and walking the dog in between rain showers.
Wish I knew for sure the start date of building works, could book a holiday to cheer me up. Am prepared to wait until October if need be but would love a sneaky week in Ibiza very soon. The sensible part of me knows the work on the house is the most important and will be worth all the upheaval.
Two more days until payday and one more day off workI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hope you find out about the work soon so SA, its annoying being in limbo. Fingers crossed for better weather throughout this week xxMummytogirls x0

Phoned the building society this morning to look into upping the mortgage a bit so there's plenty in the pot for the renovations. It's been agreed in principle and the next step is a 2 hour mortgage advice appointment next Monday. Hoping they will find me a good deal, I don't want to be paying out loads a month, this will take my total mortgage amount to £38k payable over 10 years.
Today's plans will depend on the weather, if nice gardening, if not cleaning/decluttering. Looks a bit brighter out there at the moment.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
