Hi. Your cat is 21 wow I thought mine was a hero being 16
is he an indoor cat? As long as he is eating and toileting and not crying out I would keep him away from vets x

Happy Birthday to Mr SA
, glad he's enjoyed his little treats.
Poor cat, hope he picks up soon. We had to take our dog back to the vets again last Saturday and he's like a new dog now he's had his meds adjusted! Fingers crossed xxMummytogirls x0 -
Thanks all - old cat is ok-ish. He's eating, drinking and using his cat litter but his legs are still not good.
Another day off work today, did the cleaning up this morning which will save me a job tomorrow. Took the dog on the park twice which she enjoyed. The OT came this morning about the grant for disabled adaptations and the upshot is we will have to pay £9000 towards anything, which we haven't got so that's that. Mr SA asked about getting a bungalow from the council and she said we could be entitled because of his disabilities but as we already own a home we wouldn't be a priority. She will look into it for us though. Personally I'm not over keen on this idea as we could end up anywhere.
Mr SA keeps looking at a hot air balloon flight for my birthday - absolutely no way am I going in a hot air balloon - NEVER!!!
Payday today and I am in the process of sorting finances. Nice to have some money in the bank even if only temporary.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Beanie £90 would be about my maximum too
I pointed out to the OT that Mr SA hasn't worked for 3 years, prior to that the building trade was in recession for years and prior to that we had two young children to shell out for. When were we supposed to amass £9k.
Did a 37 minute HIIT workout this afternoon plus a no spend day - two boxes ticked. No alcohol free boxes being ticked on a Friday night though, absolutely not.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
OMG is all I can say about today. Trip into town this morning to exchange Mr SA's too tight trousers and shorts for the next size up. I had the bright idea of Mr SA going on his scooter with me walking - 3 miles each way would clock up a fair few steps on my Fitbit. What an ordeal. Mr SA more or less ran me over in Tesco, went right over my ankle, nearly broke it. He just piled straight into me. I was in agony. Then he reversed into a display in Debenhams. Then he trapped me between the scooter and a wall. His reactions are so slow I can see why he's not allowed to drive. Then on the way home he just scootered across a road without looking and a car had to pull up sharp.
So finally got home in one piece. He tried the trousers and shorts on still too small!! I have now ordered him a waistband extender from eBay. Can't face taking them back again. Then he started looking online on his kindle at yet more trousers, elasticated waists this time. Put my foot down as have already spent enough on trousers for him.
On a positive note, I had £10 in Body Shop vouchers I didn't know about until I got an email from them, so went online got £32 worth of stuff, 40% off plus free postage, minus vouchers, paid £9.20. Went via TCB tooI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
