Oh SA, what a worry with DH, hope it is just a throat infection or similar. Cant get over that its 2 years since he was diagnosed... this has flown by xxMummytogirls x0

Thank you ladies - and yes time has flown since 2 years ago. He has seemed a lot brighter since he started taking the soluble aspirin but unfortunately has been unable to eat his dinner as it's too painful to swallow. This thankfully is pointing more and more in the direction of it not being lymphoma (fingers crossed). He says he's really hungry so his appetite is back. He's also not sleeping so much which surely is a good sign. The scooter people are meant to be coming tomorrow with a cheaper scooter and I said I'd cancel it but he said not to unless it clashes with a doctors appointment. He also wants the carer to take him to the doctors rather than the doctor come here as he reckons they don't look at you properly at home (?!).I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Found a little spot in the cottage that gives me just enough 3G signal to get online! Really hope you get to talk to the Consultant tomorrow, even if it is just to put your mind at rest. Fingers crossed it's an infection though obviously. Will be thinking of you both XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hope you are having a good time Lucky x
After initially worrying the lymphoma had returned I'm thinking more along the lines of an infection as there has been some improvement. If we finally get on this holiday I will be buying the biggest bottle of champagne ever!!!!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hello folks! Thank you so much for all your lovely messages x Elly you were right he has oral thrush. Took him to doctors today. He's got some medicine to treat it, back on Friday for full blood tests and has got to have a chest x-ray. He was in tears at the doctors he was so worried, bless him. I couldn't believe it when he met me with the dog at the bottom of our road on my way home from work, he hasn't done this for over 3 weeks, he had also got the washing in!!! He's had some dinner tonight and half a glass of beer. The medicine is obviously good stuff!
