Mr SA upset today - he rang me at work confused by 2 letters he got, one from the council (just a statement of carer's pay) he thought it was a bill, the other from Job centre Plus telling him his ESA has gone up by £1 a week - which he was worried about because he didn't understand it. Managed to pacify him thankfully. Then he got upset because he'd been swimming with the carer and he realised he'd lost his co-ordination and was struggling to swim. The lifeguard had to come and see if he was ok. It upset him because he used to be a good swimmer.
At last there is some good news on the job front for me - my job is safeThat is such a weight off my mind. So tonight won't be an alcohol free one - I'm having a glass of wine shortly to celebrate

Thanks Beanie. I can't say a lot at the moment even on here because you just never know, but I've got the outcome I wanted and things are looking up big style. Will tell all when it's official but I've been told to keep it under my hat for now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Hope you've got a big floppy hat then

Mr SA being a pain money-wise. He's used all his phone credit up and is insisting on paying £5.60 for the gym tomorrow even though I said I would make an appointment to get him signed up to the membership - he doesn't want to wait. Plus despite his track record for dropping his phones and breaking them he refuses to put it in the case he bought the other week. Banging my head against a brick wall!
Today is AFD 5/12, although the way I feel at the moment it's a real struggle not to crack. Going to watch that cutting grocery bills programme on BBC1 at 8 to see if I can pick up any tips.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I am still in shock.

I know Beanie, they're lucky they can afford it. The programme seems to be aimed at high spenders - easy targets for them to reduce their food bills. It would be good if they picked lower spenders to show them how they can live on less.
