Yah to being with family and friends

    Yah to quiet times :A

The cat toy sounds fab, on Christmas eve I gave out a reindeer dog toy, three catnip toys and 2 carrots for a horse, rather then pressies to their owners :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hope today is relaxing

A white Christmas a day late! Got out of the bath at 6pm to find everywhere covered in snow! It's still going strong now! Council haven't gritted, road is covered. Luckily we live on a flat road but we're on top of a hill so the only way out is downhill.

If I'm lucky Beanie :) However, he has spotted local tea room just opened up which he likes the look of. He said if snow too bad to get into town we can try there. Personally I don't fancy going into town during sales frenzy time. I'll see it soon enough when I'm back at work on Monday :(

Tons of food left Buffy. Snow not walking stick friendly but he's a determined so and so. Still pouring down now and it rarely snows where we are!

  • Oh dear, I don't envy you in the snow with someone who has trouble walking normally without it :(. I hope it either disappears overnight or you can convince him to stay in. Best of luck Xx

Well we went out in the snow this morning. The buses were running although not a full service. To be honest Mr SA fared better then me with his stick on the snow, I was walking very cautiously. We just went for a coffee and straight back home. No pub lunch, no shopping. Yippee! Took dog on the park when we got back but Mr SA declined as he was too tired so I took her by myself. Good job as the park was very slippy due to kids sledging. Dog didn't really enjoy the snow, she's only little and she got soaked underneath despite having a coat on. Have whizzed round the house cleaning and now putting my feet up.

Had a look at finances and have found another £20 to pay off debt so this is now down to £680 :). I've done some calculations and I think I will be debt free on 19 January - woo hoo! Need to keep a tight rein on the budget though.
