Hi SA
I quite often lurk and have a look around some of the boards on here and follow some of the diaries.
Yesterday I was wondering if anyone had posted about Fitbit's (as I'm thinking of getting one for motivation). So I popped it into the search bit and the most recent post that came up was yours (saying that you had ordered one). Blimey! 9 hours later I've managed to skim read most of this diary.:rotfl:
What an inspirational and amazing person you are! I can't believe what you have been through over that last 18 months.:A
I wish both you and Mr SA well and all the luck and love in the world. You both deserve it in bucket loads.
I have now subscribed and will now follow with interest your journey.
Much love0 -
Hi there southern girl - it's certainly been an interesting 18 months! I started my diary thinking it was just going to be a boring pay off debt journey - little did I know! Thank you for your lovely comments.
Not got the Fitbit yet but really once it's arrived I shouldn't be tempted to look at it as it's got to be sent off to Santa
Mr SA not too bad this past couple of days, more tired than anything. He keeps saying this Christmas will be his last (he said this last year!) - it's not want you want to hear but it's understandable in his situation.
Payday tomorrow - woo hoo!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Happy Halloween!
Payday at last. Have paid for the shower and squared up Tesco card so not a lot left for debt repayment but have shaved another £60 off to make it a nice round £1500. A few odds and ends have gone into the VSP and it's now finally gone over the £300 mark at £310.76.
Got a ton of sweets for trick or treaters so hoping to get some round. Mr SA has his beady eyes on the sweets though so they won't go to waste.
Finished work early today and did the cleaning up as we're going to DS's house tomorrow on the train. Got a lovely cardigan and dress for GD from Sainsburys with 25% off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hello all
Had a good weekend although yesterday's train trip to see GD wiped him out and he's slept through most of today. Today I had a nice pottering about day and I've decluttered my wardrobe, put away my summer stuff and added a few things to the charity bag.
Also I've saved myself a few quid as I subscribe to Spotify Premium at £9.95 a month (which I love and definitely get my money's worth) and we buy Sunday Times most weeks at £2.50 a week - offer in Times was pay £2 a week for Sunday Times plus Spotify Premium free for a year. Bargain!! Now
Mr SA has got GP appointment tomorrow so hopefully will get him sorted with gym referral, referral back to falls team and get his anti depressants dose upped to see if that helps his mood which is very low at the moment.
Have done level 2 of 30 Day Shred today, plan to do again on Tuesday and Thursday. Plus at least £10,000 steps a day. So that's the exercise plan for this week. Have made red lentil, tomato and carrot soup for work lunches and am planning to stick to WW points all week. November should be nil by mouth as I have so many meals out planned in December!
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
