First Direct PPI- Has annyone had success?

I have had a letter from them confirming ppi on the loans and that they will continue their investigations

Fd were a refreshing difference compared with other banks i am dealing with.

Well were still waiting not heard a peep from FD, however oddly enough had a copy of the complaint form sent to me from fos asking us to sign the docs as i hadnt sign!!. I didnt think i had to as im sure it was all in hubbys name. Anyways sent off. Been waiting in total 4weeks or so. Getting a bit doubtful. However i did find a document from FD regarding balance protector on the CC but it was dated 1year after the card was began? This was sent into fos.

The loan was refinanced with FD again and settled at around £12g no clue on how much the PPI was for.

Had my picture claim upheld so far nothing else im not finding it as easy as it sounded. Long wait.

Hi all

First direct came through and to be fair did it all start to finish in three weeks All my loan things were upheld :-)

The only thing is they did not do anything re my PPI claim on my gold card so am phoning in the morning to see why that is still in limbo

Once again as per Lady in Waiting and AndyBoyd great service can't fault them

My loan stuff came in one letter and gold card visa came in seperate letter a few days later. Hope that helps

Had a letter from fos they are dealing with a backlog so long waiting time for me. I dont think ours will be upheld have a feeling. Hope for an answer soon xx

Just had some info back from First direct after i sent a SAR off to them. The request has turned up accounts numbers only on three accounts( 2 loans one of which they have no details on but had PPI taken) late 90's early 2000's they don't have any records for.

I had been working for the NHS for 3 years and received full cover in sickness cover from work. I was nieve; still am. This PPI plays like a film noir. Wish i could have kept the girl but she didn't see the future like i did. But then i didn't see her walking out on me so who am i to say i told you so. I can still hear the police sirens mingling with the sweet iris's in the window box as the sun faded. It all sounded like the last phone call too familiar like she was screaming at me and the perfume from the iris's were going to haunt me all through the summer. Just like any love, you take the sun for granted and then it's gone in and all you can do is turn on the heat and stare at the moon.
