    Yes. It should be fine.

Only an unforeseen issue, perhaps something wrong with the property could cause you a problem if everything was ok with the application.

Your documentation also has to match up with the data on the application form, but this is usually a formality.

    hi King

i received a DIP yesterday n it says

loan is available for xxx amount (what i wanted)
    subject to:

    satisfactory assessment of property
and the information u supplied being correct

    next steps

    find property
    provide 1 ID
1 secondary doc to verify applicant
    sa302 for last 3 yrs
provide letter from accountant or last 2 yrs sa302
    make sure property is insured
    pay any fees

but it would still have not done full credit check right ?
as i provided solicitors details after receiving this

    Which lender is this?

You simply submit the documentation requested. The requirement may change as the case is processed. The list on the AIP letter may be not be exhaustive, if something is required later, you let them have it.

Each lender has its own way of doing things and the success of an application is going to be based on the information provided, the credit check/score, the supporting documentation and the valuer's report.

Once all those things are in-place and acceptable, an offer will be issued.

The first part of each full application may be an agreement in principle and this can be built on, immediately. So, an AIP can be a pass for a full application after twenty minutes and this would normally be the case if you've been asked for solicitor details and paid any fees.

So, whoever did it went straight through the agreement in principle, through the full application to the submission, where you add the solicitor's details and pay the fees.

If you've been asked for fee payment details and solicitor's details, I'd say a full application has been submitted.

Solicitor's details are requested before the decision is made, but you are only asked for fee payment details after the decision.

From other thread, to continue theme;-

When the application is submitted, it gets one of three decisions, accept, refer or decline.

Ask him outright what the screen said when he hit the submit button. If it's refer or decline, he should not have been asked for fee payment details, but I don't know if he was. He'd obviously asked you for them, but I don't know if the Halifax system asked him for them.
