It's a simple question. Do you believe that David Dimbleby personally chooses the question time audience and the questions that are put to the panel?

You mean you can't recognise it. Not quite the same things.

Please stop being obtuse. The panel and the audience are both chosen by the BBC. No one has suggested otherwise.

A fake what? Are you saying that she made a statement that she didn't believe?

You're clutching at straws now Stevie.

I've made it quite clear what the situation was.

Either way your at your're most voiciferous when an immigration thread starts.

I'm entitled to an opinion like everyone else.

Nonetheless, your above quote is just another thinly veiled attempt at playing the racist card.

I'm not being obtuse. I'm asking sampong to clarify a comment he/she made earlier in the thread.

Just because the person was a labour activist does not mean that David Dimbleby is part of a left wing plot to unseat the government by secretly letting labour activists ask questions on question time.

But the sampong thinks steviej and I are the same person as we both used the word 'seriously' so there may be some kind of paranoia at the heart of this...

    You're not?

    That is my comment, where I made no insinuation to Dimbelby whatsoever choosing the questions and/or the audience and yet you ask me;
Do you genuinely believe that David Dimbleby chooses the question time audience and the questions they ask? Seriously. No actually, are you serious?

    I must be missing something?

No - you're definitely being obtuse.

I never said he was. Please read the entire thread, and then show me where I said this. Go on..........I challenge you.

    .

It would be revealing to know whether anyone in the BBC's production team had been tipped-off who she was and what she might say. Or, indeed, how she became a member of the audience. There have been suggestions in the political blogosphere this week that the former may have been the case.

Of course, even if it were true, it wouldn't implicate Dimbleby personally.

The BBC, on the other hand, has previous, as any fule kno.
