    Hi all

Soggy day here, so I have a bathroom full of wet washing – oh the joy!
    Hoppy Birdday Redruby.
Halight out of curiosity, I Googled Ralgex; several online places have it on their products list, but say it's unavailable, so I'm guessing you can't actually get it any more. I use Tiger Balm myself.;) I hope your poor wrist continues to improve; mine are just as bad as ever, but lets face it, if I don't do the housework, no-one else is going to.:( With the best will in the world, Mr LW can't do it all as well as a full-time job, so I guess I just have to get on with it.:o The only thing I do in addition to what you've done is I have wrist splints rather than tubigrip, with metal pieces that go up the front of the wrist to part way up the palm, but I remove them at night, as they're 'orribly uncomfortable, and I find them impossible to sleep in. Just a mo, I'll see if I can find an image... Like these:

Of course, your GP is the person to best advise you.....:whistle::whistle:

TTFTM rather than cancelling Mother's Day, why don't you call for a raincheck, and have a belated one, all of your own, once DGD has started acting more reasonably, that you and DD can enjoy?:o

Nmlc that sounds like what happened with our old shower – basically, it was just worn out; not helped by the scarily hard water we have here.

I must go and do something useful - I need to make some pizza dough for tonight, for a start.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Raining here and DH has a grump on because he had to take the car in for its MOT and walk back, then he got a phone call to say hat they couldn't find the booking  This is a garage that we have been going to for 30 years. They are doing it at lunchtime, lord knows how much that is going to cost to get it through:( Then the postie brought the car tax renewal, which has gone up as well to £220:eek: for the year and yet they want to make the main roads toll roads with private companies in charge (No surprise there with this bunch of numpties in charge)

My sight has taken a turn for the worse in the last three days and I have to have the screen at 280% and am still struggling to see it, it is a good job that I was a touch typist or I would be burgered because the keys are so blurry . And still four weeks to go before I see the opthalmologist :(.

Sorry not a very positive post :(

Oh well best get lunch BFN x

My first worry was that it could have been down to the Steroids that Iv been taking. That's what the Knee and back pain early last week Got put down to. The same as the new sleep patterns .

Because I don't remember doing anything to it. but I really now think Iv hurt the tendon in some way. I have been a bit silly with it as Iv done a few Jobs that I should not have done with it. this has made it worse! Never mind. i have been resting it yesterday and again today.
It dose seem to be getting better since I have been resting it. I really should have rested it More early in the week. but I really wonted to take the chance wand do the work that need to be done outside while the sun was out.
Still I'm resting it now. I just hope that with using it I have not done any long team damage.
I do need to go and see a doctor about this sleep lark.
So i will ask them too look at it too.
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

Lamewolf, I have those splints too, and can't say I find them terribly uncomfortable, mind you not allowed to wear them at work for infection control, and never tried sleeping in them, but my hand/wrist pain is from a congenital bone abnormality, not carpal tunnel!
Visit to occ. health decluttered, so back to work at the start of April as I have loads of holiday hours to use up, and will go back on phased return, they keep asking what hours can I cope with, how the heck do I know until I try going back??????????????
Anyways, returned the iron and got a refund, and went to markies and bought the mothers day dine in- beef in oven as we speak and will portion up and freeze in gravy, will cook the roasties and they will be scoffed over the next few days, and DD will take the pudding to her boyfriends and share it with him and his mum and aunty! The vino however has my name on it and may just be tested tonight! Also got a bag of percy and friends, so I am sorted!
    RIP Iain
