Bottom line for people who disagree with the way things are done in this county - go and live somewhere else.0

This might be right-wing, but it is not racist. I have not singled out a race. It is the AMOUNT of people immigrating that I am against
You have totally missed the point, not sure if you are being deliberately obtuse. I also agree with reducing mass immigration, the method of achieving that and underlying belief systems are highly relevant. Withdraw from the EU, convention on human rights AND convention on refugees, JUST to stop English people (whoever they are) being 'treated like second class citizens'?
That is not reducing mass immigration, that is trying to stop virtually all 'foreigners' getting in and intimating they are getting a better deal which is nonsensical when you consider ethnic minorities (born here and recent immigrants) are more likely to be living below the poverty line, overcrowded etc. What does "whatever measures are necessary" mean? Shades of BNP and their 'voluntary' repatriation policy.
The fact is three of their four key policies are negative and about immigration says it all, where is all the positive stuff about a better life and future for all English people? If they really wanted a more peaceful England it wouldn't be the hard working immigrants that got deported, it would be the benefits classes (by which I mean the people that choose that lifestyle long term) and criminals who were sent to 'distant offshore holding centres' even if they were born here. Back to the days of transportation to Oz.
SNP and PC websites and policies have a totally different and largely positive focus on employment, finance, healthcare and other services for ALL Scottish and Welsh residents. I hope you now agree that they are not "the English equivalent of Plaid Cymru or Scottish Nationalists, no-one brands them as racist,so why do it to the English Natiionalists."Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I repeat that I am not, nor ever likely to be, a member of the English Democrat party. However, I do think that we English people (unlike the Welsh and Scots) are all too ready to throw our customs and culture down the drain in the name of 'equality' and fairness'. I assumed this is what the ED's meant.
I agree with withdrawal from the EU and also the present Human Rights act which actually prevents us from getting rid of criminals to their country of origin if it means their 'human rights' are breached. So therefore I would like out of that too (have another, more sensible, Human Rights Act, by all means).
I would like British and Commonwealth citizens (whatever their ethnic roots) put to the front of the queue in things like housing, before foreign residents, and think that people should have to have been resident in our country for at least two years before gaining access to any social housing or benefits.
When I lived in Spain and not working I was not entitled to anything from the Spanish Government, nor did I expect anything, I thought it was perfectly reasonable that they put Spanish Citizens first before immigrants. This is an EU country with these laws, why can't we Brits do the same?
I couldn't care less what a person looks like, nor where they come from, but I do think in our overcrowded little island we should have some sort of control over immigration. I agree with you about Benefits though and hopefully IDS is doing something about this, we shall have to wait and see.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

I believe government government puts interests of big businesses over the interests of people. I don't like it. Should I "go and live somewhere else"?0 -
as they dont like calling the profit on lending interest but they don't mind it being called a fee then when they borrow they can just pay a fee insted of interest just call it a fee insted of interest and thats ok for them0

An opt in tax, that is an explicit tax, not a loan, might be one approach to solving the problem. x% of income above y for n years with no stopping if the "loan" amount is paid off.0

In Islam knowledge is knowledge. Unlike Christians we do not distinguish between educational knowledge obtained from Islamic and non-Islamic sources.
When the Christians burned down the library at Alexandria because they saw the books within it as herasy (I hope I've spelt it correctly), much of the knowledge of the Ancient world, Greek and Roman, was only saved because Islamic scholars had made copies of the manuscripts translated into Arabic. These were later translated back into Greek and Latin during the renaissance period and since then as well. The worlds largest depository of ancient manuscripts is in a town called Timbuktu in Africa.
In addition to preserving the knowledge, which include Pythagorus Theorum, they built on the knowledge. The word "Algebra" is taken from the title of one of these manuscripts written by an Arab Mathematician who proposed using letters instead of numbers as a means of expressing individual arathmetic operations that form the individual steps in more complicated calculations.
The word "nebula" is of Arab origin, when Galilaeo (wrong spelling) was being persecuted for daring to stare at the heavens, it was Muslim scholars that were advancing the science of Astronomy. The first scientific Human dissection was carried out by a muslim, who made the first written record of his study of human anatomy.
If the writings of Hippocrates had not been translated and taken back by the Muslim scholars first to Baghdad and then stored at Timbuktu they would have been lost in the fire that destroyed the library at Alexandria, today you would not even know who he was, let alone have the oath that has come to be identified with the modern medical profession.
Islam teaches that God created the world and filled it with wonders for us to explore and understand. The persuit of knowledge and education tansends all other persuits in Islam and is so highly prized that after the Almighty and his Prophet, parents and teachers (not priests) are revered above all others.0
