Katies mum,we had a Bosch washing machine and it was very reliable but if i recall when you purchase it you can extend the warranty for about £10-£20,there was a page in the warranty book that you pull out, fill in and include a cheque.I cannot remmember the exact amount but do know we had three years cover because the machine stated making a horrible banging noise,i stripped it down and found that the spider on the back of the drum had cracked ( i think my wife had overloaded it or put one item in! )any way i found the fault but remmembered the warranty so i had to re-assemble it so as not to invalidate the warranty only for the engineer to strip it down again to repair it! would def. recommend Bosch as a good product.

    Regards

weve had our bosch now for nearly 12 years, never had a days problem with it, would only buy bosch from now on, when the other white goods need replaced i will replace them with bosch goods,

my machine is very basic with no fancy lights or anything, but i only use 2/3 different cycles so it is perfect for us,

    Thank you all for replying.

I have just reserved a Bosch WA28461GB at a local Euronics shop for £499 including fitting either later tomorrow or first thing Friday and it comes with a 4 year warranty (2 yrs with Bosch and 2 years with
D and G have found out they use Bosch repair agents).

Thank you dogmaryxx without the link to Euronics wouldn`t have got the extra 2 years warranty at no extra cost.

How pathetic am I ... but I`m so excited at getting a new washere!!

This may be too late for you now and I know that you specifically mentioned Bosch but I've just seen this on HUKD.

I bought a Bosch about a year ago when they were doing cashback, a bit complicated for me, (well I am a bloke), having been used to twintubs for 30 odd years but I'm more than half way up the learning curve now and to date have had no probs with it.

I have a Logixx 8, which is over 5 years old - but it is essentially the same machine as yours by the looks of it.

I haven't had any major repairs done to it. I did call out an engineer as I was being rather picky about a noise the machine was making, but it turned out to be just fine. Even so, the engineer replaced the part making the noise just for my peace of mind - and no, the new part didn't make the noise go away. :D:o

    You won't regret this machine!

Thanks for the thumbs up! just about to go and sign on the dotted line..but of course had to re-check reviews etc...I`m driving myself nutts (how did we ever manage before computers, which and many more reviews?)
Glad you like your machine..as long as it performs better and lasts longer than my Panasonic I`ll be happy.

I'm actually slightly jealous of you, as your machine will have newer features and will perform better.
