Ajaxgeeer look at the rain??? Well I have not signed up for the ladies match as I might have to go to Exeter. Have signed up for the ladies champs 36 holes in one day.

Still doing badly on the diet front. Already up to 5 glasses of wine this week and 3 evenings to go. Tried to be good staying away no pudding but ate I whole bag of toffees because I had to do a 350mile round trip. Suggs I know what it feels like having to do so much mileage. I have started to have skinny latees on your sugestion - hope it will help.

Biscuits are still my downfall. My DH is trying to give up smoking - well cutting down he is smoking about 11 a day now from 40 so I am quite impressed. We have biscuits in the house for him (he is really skinny) so as he is trying so hard with the smokes I can't really say don't have a biscuit in front of me.

Going to a party Saturday so I think the wine thing will work this week either but if I can stay within the 10 like last week it is better than nothing.

Victory sounds like you are really having a hard time. I have never counted calories but it seems like you are getting a lot of different advice. Hope you find a happy medium soon that will keep you and the rest of your family happy.

Must get off now off to an appointment in a minute. Take care all.

Sorry if I'm teaching my granny to suck eggs here, but just thought it was worth pointing out for anyone who doesn't know that Tesco are doing Quorn sausages at 79p a pack(6) - that's low-fat and moneysaving.

Morning all - Ajax - well done on the weight loss this week, thats a great result :T

Delly - maybe too late but good luck with the interview today. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm finding it a struggle at the minute to lose weight living at my parents - I've been buying some of our own food but its hard not to cause offence by doing so. There is a lack of fruit and a glut of biscuits. It's very difficult as I have little control over what is being bought. I have come home with a few things - muller yogs, bran flakes, fruit etc but my mum asks me why I bought it and whats wrong with her food  Builders are playing silly beggars and its looking like they are never going to finish the work. Its getting me down at the minute - no roof + lots of rain=very wet house. I'm trying to be positive about it, there is nothing I can do to stop the rain and I am thankful I am not in the flooded places which I have seen on the news. I just wish the rain would stop, my building would finish and I could move back home. And besides - have you tried playing scrabble when your parents are in the room next door :o :rotfl:

Surely I can meet the 5lb loss challenge at least once?!

Hi Sa1syoo - I've only done it once, but I'm determined to do it again this month. Let's adopt a positive mantra: I will lose 5lbs this month! - repeat after me until you feel positive ;)

I will lose 5lbs this month!
I will lose 5lbs this month!
I will lose 5lbs this month!

Mothers - who'd have them! Didn't your Mum do SW for a while last year? You'd think she'd be more understanding and not take it personally that you don't want to live on biscuits.

I hope it's not too long before you can move back home again.
