Nationwide Flex Direct Plus.

I just re-read the upgrade confirmation from my Flex Account to a FlexPlus and although I knew they were re-issuing Debit cards, I did not realize it was chequebooks too.
Looks like Nationwide are taking the branding of the FlexPlus very seriously which seems the total opposite to Santander with the 123 account where I was expecting the 123 branding to at least appear on the Debit card. Had to write 123 on the white part of the card to distinguish it from my Zero card which also has no branding.
ditto Welcome Pack - premium quality branding. Seems very much a strategic product for Nationwide.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

Sure that link works. But you can't register your cards on it.0

[winner_mode]Calm down dear! It's a new product and early days.[/winner_mode] :-)
As you know, up front registration is not strictly necessary but it is concerning that your account information has not yet been passed to them and worthwhile following up with NW. Like you, I'll certainly be trying to pre-register as much of my information rather than doing it at claim time.
I was expecting a real-time upgrade of my Flex Account but it is scheduled for the weekend so it appears to be more than just associating an account with an account type. Perhaps things will change after the weekend.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

Yes I know. But I have umpteen different cards in my purse, and if it goes missing for some reason, I just want to call one number and tell them all is gone. I don't then want to have to tell them what cards they were.
Yes, I assumed you knew, you seem pretty switch on where Ts&Cs are concerned. :cool2:
I agree, that service is essential to register up front. I can't remember if you applied or upgraded.
My welcome packed says my account is set up but the end of the upgrade form said it would be upgraded on the weekend with no email or online indication that anything has happened in the meantime.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

Ah, I am a moron. That link I posted was for phones, not cards (named it wrong in my bookmarks). Sorry. :embarasseMFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

Wow. Failed to register my phone fully as they don't list it. Seemed to have to give them all the details again for "validation purposes". Very strange and the lady on the other talked in that p****ed off way. Annoying.MFiT-T3 #149: {Q4/14} (£46,447)-->(£0) ~ +£46,447=100%

I could register my iphone earlier, but it was a bit of a job to find a model description that resembled the one I have and that they would accept as valid. You aren't allowed to enter your own description, you have to select form a drop-down, and they don't accept all the models from their own drop-down.
All this hassle before you even have any claim.
Two not so positive experiences for me so, on the card service and the mobile phone insurance. Haven't got a warm feeling now about the rest.0 -

The phone insurance is provided by lifestyle group who do it for pretty much all bank account insurance products...so your experience would be the same wherever you go.0
