Just wanted to say how shocked i was when i popped into a t's that i don't normally go in to look at the ys stuff.
The poor reducing guy was surround by no less than 20 people all shoving eachother to try and get closer to him. The minute he marked stuff someone would snatch it! I didn't even attempt it i'm not that desperate.
Walked around for a bit to get some other items and came back, it was a little quieter and the scrapping had stopped.
About 5 people remained all joking about how they needed a bouncer!
I hung at the back waiting for the cast offs nobody wanted.
2 x finest smoked salmon 80p
2 bags of spinach 20p
2 packs of baby sweetcorn 30p
There was plenty more veggies left which i didn't need to pick up, everyone must have been fighting over the junk food-bit of a joke really when they could have had something healthy for the same price.0 -

try looking at the bigger picture. i am that desperate. at the moment we are going out to the shops when we know the yellow labels are going on. we go to Tesco then the co-op in the hope to find some reduced foods. my husband has lost his job and i cant find work. we have three children and feels like we are living on fresh air. so yes i'm one of those disgusting people who try's to get in first and grab a bargain to feed my family and give them a cheap treat. got our reduced sandwiches last night to make a Easter picnic for the kids as we go on our Easter hunt today. and will be looking into the co-op on the way home to see if they have anything for tea.0 -

I worry that there are people worse off than us. my kids never go without food and thanks to this site i've learnt a few tricks of the trade to get cheap items. its been a rubbish start to the year so far but i know we are not the worse effected.0
