No, I mean you have to design the car park with pedestrian gaps between the parking spaces.

    ie.
    |Road|Parking|Pedestrian|Parking|Road|etc.
    |Road|Parking|Pedestrian|Parking|Road|etc.
    |Road|Parking|Pedestrian|Parking|Road|etc.
    |Road|Parking|Pedestrian|Parking|Road|etc.
    etc.

Of course it won't happen in the UK because of greed - they try and cram in as many cars as they can into as small a space as possible.

that would be hazardous for the pedestrians, to be inbetween rows of cars like this, many people back up too far into pedestrian pathways as well. Thwere is a asda near me who does that and they have to put big concrete bollards inbetween every bay and the pathway to stop drives driving too far in.

The bays tend to be wider further away from the supermarket, the spaces closes to the store tend to be narrower as more people like to park close the shop. I like to park further away as it's less busier measning you're more like to have empty bays beside you and less trolloys floating about - another pet peeve why do drives just dump the trollys and get in the car and drive off? It's so annoying and you would think that drivers would be more considerate with this and put their trollys back in the right places.

Local Asda have separate entrance and exit roads that lead onto another road before joining the proper main road off-site. I have been known to enter via the exit road late at night/early hours to save time. :D

Sorry, no time to post, I'm rushing out to Tesco to mow down some pedestrians with no consequences!
