    Yes.

    Just kidding, no.
  • I see it happening sometimes,it will be an offence if you knock a shopper down, when he/she has observed the arrow markings, and looked in the direction the traffic is travelling from

I generally ignore supermarket directions and no entry signs - I will use the best routes for my exit possible as long as I do not interfere with incoming vehicles.

There is no way I am driving through a car park, around several rows, up and down them etc instead of simply driving directly out of there just because of an arrow painted on the floor.

At our local supermarket we also have an imitation box junction (painted in white) that can be ignored too.

I laugh in the face of any attempt at making me run the rat run.

I would imagine any accident you would not have a leg to stand on, you would be at fault as you are going the wrong way.

From where you are parked it can be impossible to know which way to turn until you've driven half way down the aisle.

But it's OK to knock a shopper down if you are travelling in the correct direction and the shopper assumes the traffic is coming from the other direction and doesn't look in your direction?

Today by accident I was in Tesco.

There are cameras everywhere in the car park, could I get a ticket for this?

Probably. Return to your usual supermarket.

It would be the same offence regardless of direction of travel.

Incumbent in that attitude is a requirement to take a higher level of care. There is an expected route for you to follow, and if an accident occurred, your non-compliance would significantly raise your culpability.

But you already know that...
