Hope you get on your cruise, sounds fab. I've been to that beach though and it's very nice when we were there years ago there was a lovely coffee shop near by too...

What - you're cruising the streets of Brentwood looking for TOWIE stars? Enjoy :).

Yep I am hoping for a sighting of the rare lesser spotted non make up female ... I have heard there are sightings but I've also heard that's just like the Nessie story ... Aimed at getting the tourists in ;)

Well ... We're having a relaxing time, I have to admit if we were paying the full price for the holiday I would be going nuts at the cost, I'm not saying its terrible, but I won't rush back that's for certain ... But I have always wanted to come here and am glad we did

Hi everyone, been busy with this wee break then straight back into the night shift, tbh i am shattered, have been spending the last few shifts looking for jobs, i must be looking in the wrong place or maybe i am just too fussy but i cant see anything that would suit me, some are asking for a C.V and i dont have a clue how to do one of them either so that is a gonna be a learning process for me, although i dont when i will get the time to learn tbh

money wise, the savings have came out so thats a good thing, hubby's wage has went into the bank and came back out lol

everything is just plodding on, am thinking i need a break from my work for a couple of months, but we do need the money so i need to do the overtime, i think i will look at whats available and if it suits i will do it if it doesnt ... well i will need to find another way to work our money as i am not willing to do shifts just to suit the boss, she was on the phone again tonight wanting me to transfer to another unit and go on days, she says well you wanted days so there you go, eh yes i want days not days and backs which is how that unit works so i am not really willing to mess my body up even more just because all the staff in that unit are walking ( there will only be two staff left shortly as the rest have all walked)

I've started this post several times and deleted what I have written as its not been appropriate

However start again el and move forward time

Right here's my soa for when I won't be doing any overtime, I'm thinking June July and August off of doing any as I REALLY need a break

Ok tell me if I can cut back anything ... All monies are rounded up ie: £12.12 for TV license is down as £15 etc

    £15 t.v licence
    £140 gas and electricity
    £250 savings
£175 car/home insurance and any repair bills
£500 extra to mortgage ( this is non negotiable I want to complete my challenge )
    £830 mortgage
    £40 mobile
    £60 TV / phone / broadband
    £70 insurance for mortgage
    £40 endowment
    £200 food
£40 work money for mr el
    £120 diesel
    £150 council tax
    £50 fun money

    Taking it to £2,680

I estimate we will have £2,660 coming in so £20 short this will be made up of the extra from the TV licence etc

Now I don't have any money for our holidays or clothes , haircuts etc ... This is us working at the very basics level, but I need a break from my work so I will have to try and make this work.

I don't really know how I will manage holiday spending money at this time and I will have to come up with a plan for that ... Clothes, haircuts etc I will have to do without

If anyone can suggest anything I have missed or can suggest any way to get a couple hundred extra per month for our holiday I would be most great full

    Thanks

    El xx
