So why do people dislike this battleborn then? Seems like everything he posts gets picked on/abused.

Its always a bit depressing when a group of posters decide to gang up on one poster. Its the mob mentality

Maybe because he tends to make rather daft posts.

He came in gushing about the O2 arena to such an extent that a lot of his posts were removed as spam.

Then he started retaliating by whining about various posts for frivolous reasons and threatening to or actually reporting them to the mods.

Now he's mounting a crusade to claim that minimum wage is 'good' money. Which is pretty silly as it about as poor as it's legally possible to earn.

I don't think anyone is picking on him - he just makes rather silly posts.

His last post didn't appear to warrant the criticism that its received from 2 established posters.

Saying that people who earn a minimum wage do a decent job seems to be a reasonably harmless thing to post.

I sense he has annoyed one of the established MSE cliques so every post he does now will be picked on until he says something in anger that breaches the rules. Then they can be banned and everyone can applaud for a job well done. It makes me sad

Also whats wrong with praising the O2 arena? I've never been but it looks good.

I think it was the fact that he's making an unconditional case which is unlikely to be true.

Had he said 'A lot of people on minimum wage ...' I very much doubt anyone would have disagreed.

And inferring someone is on benefits and wouldn't come off because they don't agree that minimum wage is 'good money' is just daft.

I don't think he's getting picked on. Certainly not in any concerted way. I wasn't even aware that there was a clique here. If ever there's a clique on a site I'm usually the first to fall foul of them.

And the mods are very tolerant here. If I haven't even go a yellow card it must take quite a lot to ban someone. I suspect he's safe.

Nothing in principle but he made several posts one after another on the same thread each gushing in a rather over the top manner.

Had he just made one post I'm sure no one would even have commented. As he made several in very quick succession - all saying the same thing - I would imagine that quite a few people registered it as spam and pressed the button accordingly.

It's completely harmless, in much the same way as it's completely wrong.

I have nothing against battleborn or any other poster. However if I have an issue with the content of their posts I'll respond to it.

:)Yeah the reason why I asked for a link was because you can google things and come up with thousands of random pages, some extravagant statements etc. I'm sure if you googled plumbers wage- somewhere along the line you'd get half a million a year or similar.

For the average bin man on street chucking bags into the back of a lorry he/she is not going to be on anything like £40k.

If that was to be the average wage i'd apply like a shot!

The page i linked had a couple on £13k, A few around £20k and some wildly high well over £50k up to £75k to make an average of £41k something, thats clearly not the case.
As another posted on here is on £17k, it's probably more likely there's a lot more on around that wage.
