Hiiiiii everyone, I havn't been around much lately but I have been reading all the threads everyday, everyone is doing so well. I've been very busy with work recently taking on extra shifts. Managed to make an extra £200 last month ontop of my usual wage which was brilliant. I have put some things on facebook and ebay this week and last night I got alot of interest on fb - £33.50 up to now once I deliver the things on Friday, hoping I can get some more sales before then.
How is everyone getting on, how are you doing with that overdraft happytails? Mine is still at the higher end lol xThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%

hi everyone! glad to see people are plugging away at these totals! even if they cant at the mo, its nice to see people'touching base' (i hate that term!)
havent seen Little MIss Uni Debt for a while or am i missing her? hope shes ok as the founding father (mother?) of the 1% challenge.
i havent added any squares since i last posted but i have paid off £100 off my 2nd debt, which im not even counting yet! hows that for dedication! i want my 2nd debt to be a nice round number and at the mo it is £5400, but im hoping to get that at £4500 when i start tackling that, that way my 1% will be a nice round £45.
keep up the good work ladies and gents!)

That's brill Sarah well done x I've still got 2, the halifax at £864, the cc at £2882.26, we did pay off all the argos though so atleast that was something, if I were to leave it to go onto normal credit it was going to be over £100 a month in interest which is more than both cc and halifax put together lol xThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%

Good morning my lovely people
I am officially on annual leave for 2 whole days so today I start seriously trying to rack up every %. I know £4.30 isn't much but it's breaking me in ready for the monster one (still very scary to think about!)
I have a plan of action today which is to mainly sort out the clutter/junk/treasure (stuff I want to keep, sell, give to charity or bin) Sort out kitchen (make sure everything on it's way out gets used before it needs to get binned and get rid of all the surplus cups plates glasses) shop and bake
I am feeling really positive about it all today. Going to take the dog for a nice long stroll and then get on it when we get back.
Won some money yesterday. After paying off a few things I have got my first 3% saved wooo hooAny money left over from shopping will go towards it too.
Good luck everyoneMake £10 a day, October 2023 - £105/£3100 -

Well done on clearing the Argos card!! We've got tax man then car payment then the credit card and finally our loan which i expect will be pretty low once all the rest have been cleared (estimating 18months) It seems such a long way away but we've already paid off £7000 ish on various debts since i joined the challenge 14 months ago
Anyway, progress this week has been slow. My weekend will hopefully see me list loads of 99p items on Ebay and fix up a few of the familys clothes so i can get them off my desk!! Need to do an online shop for Monday and try not to spend that many pennies!

Well didn't get as much done yesterday as I wanted to but did have a NSD and listed a few items on ebay. Today I will list at least 10 things. I have loads of stuff to list but I do not enjoy it!
I have a pile of books....where is best to sell these too?Make £10 a day, October 2023 - £105/£3100 -
Okay well my sisters printer didn't work so I don't have an actual 100 sqaured grid in front of me. However I saved an image of one and is using a photo editing site to "stamp" off whenever i hit a 1%
Here's what my sheet looks like so far;
I was considering opening another account to start my emergency savings as things keep on popping up such as dental bills and the need to buy a funeral outfit (I know this is rare and don't always happen) but I can't always afford it. Last month I was living on less then £10 for 2 weeks because of having to pay part of my dental bill and the rest this month.
It would mean that I have 3 accounts though. What do you guys think?SavingsRepayment: £0/£359.00
