Update for the end of the month for me :
#196 £302.90/ £6200 5% paid off.
Slow but steady progress, and my emergency fund is growing alongside this so I should be able to start savings towards a lump sum payment off the loan by the end of the year
Savings goal £30,000 1% = £300.

Hi all, its fantastic to see more people joining
and seeing the progress from so many fellow 1%'s. Especially well done happytails - you had an expensive month and still managed %'s so a big :T for you.
Well I have finally got to the bank and paid in my £80 from my craft fair at the weekend plus a further £48 from a craft fair I done yesterday. That plus I finally managed to let go of my old car to a scrapy and gained £70 in the process (although she was a bit part of my life and I cried when she went).
So in total I have added £198 to the savings pot today meaning:-

Its my little girl's birthday on Monday and I took adavantage of my trip into town today to grab a few extra bits and pieces - I also remembered that I had a £24 credit note for BHS (and it just so happened that they have 25% off kids clothes at the mo (inc reduced items) so I picked up a Now 84 CD and two tops for her using the credit note (and I still have £3.80 left on credit for something else).
I won't add that money into savings (or my % totals) yet though until end of June as although hubby got a decent wage this month with all his overtime we have just had to pay £1300 for his car to be fixed (plus still needs approx £700 of work doing ) and one of our BTL needs new windows which is gonna be £1080). Add to this daughters Go Kart party which needs paying for I better wait and see how much money (if any!!!) is left at end of June.

Morning, well 2 of eBay buyers weren't within the uk and I only post within uk, as stated, so pretty narked off about that. Relisted most of my items this morning to end on Saturday.
Got my holiday to sort out (a week today), and need to sort breakdown cover and pet insurance today as that expires at the end of the week.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all but we will get there!

Getting there...
I have just paid 2% towards Barclaycard, and also put up my regular standing order to Mum from £250 p/m to £500 p/m from July. So that'll be an extra 2.5% each month, plus anything else I can cut back/rustle up. I reviewed my spend and found that if I'd controlled myself better I might have been able to pay off 5%. I've not been very disciplined lately, so at least this way every month 2.5% won't be there for me to waste.
Thanks Little Miss for the suggestion of a car boot sale to get rid of my old clothes. I did go through the cases in the loft and now have drawers full of lots of lovely things I'd totally forgotten I owned, and two large holdalls full of stuff to sell. Some things weren't worth selling so they will be going to a charity shop. I spent £9 on a clothes rail from Argos, and about £3 on tags and mini safety pins so I can mark up the prices. Some of my more expensive items still fit, so I may wait a little while longer before I do the sale. My weight loss is now at 2.5 stone. Another 1 to 1.5 stone and I really will need a new wardrobe, as I haven't been smaller than my current dress size in about 20 years.
