Come on happytails, you can do it :j
hope everyone else is doing OK? I have another debt crop up from forgotten memories so I need to pay £900. Now if I threw all of my lunch to work money at this it will take 2 years to pay off so I will need to save elsewhere if I want to pay it off quicker.
Anyway debt no 2, 1% = £9 just to get the ball rolling.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
HI everyone (and big hugs to happytails),
Well I had another craft fair today - my third in a row and I'm v tirednow - it was very quiet but I still managed to get £35 to pay towards our next BTL deposit.
So over the bank holiday I have managed to amass the sum of £267 - thats 5.34% :j:j:j
I won't officially declare it though until I (hopefully) get to the bank tomorrow to pay it in and transfer it.
As for what I sell I make loads of different items including magnets, bags, purses, fabric decs, soap and bath bombs, hair accessories to name but a few. Prices range from 75p - £18 and I love it. I always say I make things to stop me having to do housework - and thats so true.
Happytails - you have done amazingly well to get so far already - especially with all your little ones - keep your chin up - and think at least you now have heat again should you need it. If its any consolation our boiler cost £135 to fix plus we have decided to get a thermostat to help the boiler not work so hard so thats gonna set us back another £300I'm thinking of the moneysaving in the long run though xxx

Rushy #197 55%
Hi, been slow going but another 1% to report taking me up to 55%. The start of my eBay sale of trains I had when I was a kid. Just one set to test the water but went well, so will put the rest on now so should hopefully bring another 5% in if I'm lucky.
Was going to declare another 2% made from selling stuff at an indoor car boot sale at weekend, but we're going for a short holiday this weekend and so will use that money to cover this.

Thanks. Feeling a little more positive today and listed a train set the kids never play with this morning. Shame they arent being helpful by messing about today, think ill take them out later to see my mum and get some fresh air. Evelyn has only just gone down for her nap, she is 6 months old today!!
Think we might make banana bread today as we have some bananas that are going black so will use those up
Found a few clothes in the kids drawers we can get rid of, even if i just get £1 each its gonna be about £10.

I have now broken through the magic £1000 left of debt barrier - been able to pay off an additional 2% in the last week - earned primarily through ebay sales, so have just got £910 left to pay - this should all be gone once wages through at the end of the month :j It'll be the first time either me or my wife have been debt-free since the ages of 18/19 - I'm now 31, and she's 30. This thread has really inspired me, and ebaying has definitely been worth it for me!!!
In case you didn't know this weekend is a free listing weekend on there - so better get my remaining bits listed! Intending to do a car boot at the end of the month to clear anything that hasn't sold on ebay by then.
