Can I just ask - is it wedding photography your OH does? You are not in South West per chance?!?!?!x
Yes wedding photography, that's right, we started it in 2010. We are based in the Midlands but we travel to wherever we are needed really! We've been as far north as Sheffield and as far south as Plymouth, we even did one in Italy last year!
Well done on your ebay clearout FallenArcher I know how long that must have taken!

I am feeling very happy, once I get my first months wages I am going to get rid of the halifax overdraft and wonga repayments then we only have 2 creditors left
We have a halifax overdraft too that ill be glad to see the back of. Always been in it since 2007, never truly getting out of it for long enough. Its going to be good going into the bank and closing that bank account downCant wait!

We're the same, we've been in it since February last year, £15 account fee and £28 - £32 per month for overdraft charge means we've wasted £225 on the account fee and £420 on o/d fee = £645.00 , that would just about clear the over draftThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%

So its payday andjust worked out my totals..... have paid an additional £514 this month but will round that down to £476 to declare my first 2% :j
I will carry the £38 undeclared over to next months total as the numbers are so big it needs a payday to sort!
Now if anyone is feeling kind I would like some advice please ..... I have managed to switch £15000 of my debt to 0% interest. As my minimum repayments are large (at £23k debt) do you think it is cheating to add my 0% minimum repayments to my paid off total as technically these are paying pure debt without interest?0 -
Prettyplease..... me and you are in the same boat! Practically the same amount of debt and LBM. iI'd put your minimum to your total paid off debt but wouldn't include it in your 1% but its your choice hun
i'm sure some months if I was tight id cheat
Was talking to my OH about debt and id worked out our DFD to be July 2017 but we really want to bring that forward to about July/August 2015 so we have a lot of work!DFW - Feb 2016 £19k

Prettyplease - I don't really understand minimum payments (except that they have to be paid!) but I should think that any payment that is reducing your debt can count? Because if it is reducing your debt & you don't count it then you will have paid off your debt before you reach 100% IYSWIM? Do whatever makes you happier.
I got £28 today from CEX for some DVDs. Thinking of selling my Wii and stuff to them but not sure yet.
DS1 had his birthday at the weekend and received £290 plus millions of presents  He spent the £80 that came in cash yesterday & I said the cheques are for the bank. £200 is from his granny so I might see if he wants to buy a square on the chart with £80 of that. (Anyone who doesn't know - my 100% challenge is to pay for us to go to Disney World and the kids know that they have to chip in order for us to manage it, I'm not stealing their money! Plus when Grandparents give money they always point out that it is for a present, or the bank or something they need not just for saving.)
But none of that has been transferred so not declaring yet. Am hopeful to be up to 20% by then end of the month though :T1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

More than ready for payday on Tuesday. Verified my details with Music magpie for my £20, getting a further £10 payment off a friend today (and final £10 next thursday). Got £3 for a tub of paint i didnt need anymore thanks to FB selling pages.
I think i might pursue my sewing a little more. 2 friends said they'd be willing to pay for some kids tagged comfort blankets if i made them some so wondering if i can earn some pennies this way? Id have to register with HMRC and fanny around so not sure whether its worth it and if there are restrictions for making kids toys etc (like being a choking hazard, even though i do extra stitching on things like that).
Need to go to Morrisons today as didnt go the other day as have £15 off voucher to spend thats only valid until 28th so want to get enough food to last until Weds. Need to meal plan first.
Got a few sewing/crafty things to be getting on with when the kids are asleep for birthdays. Got 4 things to work on this week :eek:DFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022

Hi all
I would love to join this challenge please as i am hoping to start clearing my debts this year.......
I have added up all the balances of my debts on 31st March 2013 to calculate my 1%. I pay off all my minimums in the middle of the month and then throw anything left in my account the day before payday at my highest APR% cc. I update my totals each month so will update here at the same time.
leictina - 1% = £108.99LBM @ 01.01.12 TOTAL DEBT = £13301.77. LH number 320
