  • I love the idea of crossing out a square once 1% is paid off debt but is there a techy person out there who can guide me into doing something similar on my laptop in excel or similar?

    Thanks ......

Why don't you just make a grid in a spreadsheet with 100 numbered cells?

I do this and change the colour each time I pay a % off.
Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £2000
  • The easy option is always the best - I was thinking of fancy pie charts etc but its just as satisfying colouring in squares! Thanks
  • Hope everyone is having a good day and your percenting is going well. I finally get to update my percent (this whole waiting a month until payday thing is getting frustrating!)

So we have paid another £1025.59 this month off our debts so that's another 7.3% = 15.8% 2013 total

Come next month we should be under £10,000 for the first time in 6 years. It's hard to believe 2 and a half years ago our debts were £25k!! We're planning a day out to celebrate and then will get ourselves back in gear to try and get the remainder gone for December this year! Well lunch has gone to quick once again!

Wow, I completely forgot to sign up to the new thread! Silly me! Anyway, I've racked up another % using Nectar points - I'll use those in lieu of a shop and put the money aside :)

    Debt 2 = £500 - 1% = £5.00 -33% :j
    Debt 3 = £1900 - 1% = £19.00 - 2%
    Debt 4 = £8000  - 1% = £80.00 - 0.5%

Hi folks - this is a bit off topic so sorry in advance! I finally uploaded my ebook to kindle this week but it has only published in the US, Canada & Brazil not on amazon UK or any of the European amazon sites. Just wondering if either anyone on here has any ideas or could suggest which board I could post this question on? I'm just really stumped. Thanks x
    1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
    MFW 2013 no. 62 £10,000/£10,000
    MFW 2014 no 62 £8000/£7000
  • Happy Friday all!

My Direct Debits for my cards are all set up now!! :) I used to get all mixed up when DD's came out of my main account, now I have an income account & a bills account & I just make transfers between them. Then I know for sure any left over is available to make overpayments with. I'm steering clear of bank charges from now on! :D

Think I will put my next few percents earnings straight into the bills account so there is a buffer and I can be a month ahead which is a very nice feeling. Not had that in a long time (if ever!)

In other news my sister is having a baby and found out yest that it's a girl! My first niece! :jDue in 20 weeks. I hope I'm debt free by then! :)

Right, I'd better get a wriggle on. Got a long list of things to do at work and I finish at 3pm today.

Congrats on getting your book finished! :T

As far as I remember you have to select "Worldwide rights - all territories" or select specific countries to publish in during the setup process.
