Hey everyone,

I've not updated this thread in a little while, I have been busy focusing on clearing debt that seemed never ending!

I just wanted to pop back in here today to say as of 25th Nov I am finally....

What finally cleared it for me was getting a hefty PPI refund that I originally applied for in 2013. It was one of my early 1% challenges which made me send off the letter which was initially rejected back then but with lots of changes around PPI I kept on pursuing it and it finally got upheld! Without this site I would never have had that (and a lot of other) money back.

Having this thread for support really helped me in those uncomfortable middle stages where you feel like you've been at it forever but still a long way off.

I really wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that has participated in the 1% challenge over the past few years and for all of the advice and help that gets posted on the Debt Free Wannabe boards in general.

I really hope this thread can continue to help people feel motivated about their journey.

I intend to continue to pay the kindness forward in any way I can and will certainly still be joining in here!
