My 11 year old DD is having a friend over this weekend and they've put me in charge of getting them a film .
They have told me it needs to be:
Funny
Have a good story
Available from the local blockbusters
That's it. I'd happily go with a 12 rating, (don't shoot me). They've seen all the popular Disney's etc like Up, How to train your dragon etc.
HELP!

Brave and The Emperors New Groove are good. Monsters Inc? Although they may well have seen those if they've seen a lot of animated films!Kate.0

yes, great recommendation, my 11-year old loves Monte Carlo.
Have they seen either of the first 2 Pirates of the Caribbean movies? Either of those would suit too possibly.0 -

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen?
Have they seen Despicable Me? All my adult friends and I loved that as well as the kids! The remake of Freaky Friday was good. Princess Diaries is funny in parts. Ramona and Beezus. 13 Going on 30.
Old School stuff like Mrs Doubtfire, Adam's Family (I found it funny as a kid, anyway
