Afternoon
Could I join please? I spend far too much on lunch at work!
I have 16 working days this month, as I have some days off the week after next.
Could I just ask, can you really freeze an already made sandwich? Are there any limitations on what can go in it?
It would be excellent to be able to do this, I could take it out of the freezer in the morning and hopefully it would be thawed out by lunchtime.
Thank for for any advice

Welcome 32b3in2013 :j yes you can freeze sandwiches. There are posters on here who do it, and cakes too like muffins. I have heard of people freezing ham or cheese sandwiches and they defrost OK.
Why not give it a try with one sandwich to see how it defrosts?
Just had a quick look on the net and there's info out there too.
Fillings That Freeze Well:
Peanut butter (with or without jelly); cheese spreads; cream cheese mixtures (with olives, dates or raisins); and sliced meats, poultry and canned tuna. Small amounts of condiments, like ketchup, mustard or relish should freeze fine.
Fillings That Don't Freeze Well:
Mayonnaise or oil-based dressings.
Tips:
Add toppings like hard-boiled eggs, lettuce, tomatoes and other fresh vegetables to sandwiches after thawing.
