I'm afraid I have nothing to add as I thankfully have no experience of divorce (and hope I never will!), I just wanted to say BlackRaven you sound like a thoroughly good egg. It’s nice to read of a divorcing couple who still trust one another and who seeming aren’t trying to do the other one over. I really really hope it all works out for you both and you manage to stay this amicable. It's very refreshing.Skeletons ain't got nowhere to stick their money, nobody makes breeches that size.0

I do wonder what your solicitor has been doing though. Surely he has advised you do not have to pay all that you are paying?
Maybe that's why his rate is so cheap.....you're only getting half the job!0 -
I paid before contacting a Solicitor. And my Solicitor has said to reduce what I am paying, and that I could start taking her name off deeds now. I have no issues with my Solicitor.0
