Does any one know if they will still be doing spot checks for those with indefinite DLA awards when they start to roll out PIP? And if they are, will they be they be assessed against DLA or PIP criteria?

I don't know about "spot checks", but all of those on an indefinite award will be reassessed under PIP at some point.
  • my husband is seriously ill with end stage renal failure and we cannot get dla! think this might have something to do with the fact that it is changing into this pip thing.. alot of the people we talk to on the kidney patient sites got dla before but new patients like my husband are being sent to assesments and we have been appealing this decision since june last year. its all very confusing.
