Ive got two huge bottles of the curl shot bedhead shampoo and conditioner that are spluttering now. I like it, adored it when i bought it for a fraction of the price it would have been from a proper shop - but I dont think Id buy it again, now Ive discovered the coconut curl shampoo from Lush, I think Im going to stick with that for a while. Defiantely wouldnt worry about going back to it thoughDo not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Had a massive clear out of make up today now I have my new make up storage. Haven't been through my make up for so long, think there were products in there that are at least 10 years old
I previously kept lots of makeup in a giant clear plastic make up bag that used to just sit in a draw and I never used any of it. For some reason I seem to get rid of foundations and concealers but hoard eye shadow and mascara. I have lots of green eyeshadow for some reason (never wear this colour - planning on keeping them for a bit and see if I use them now I have resorted, I am thinking that I probably won't and will end up giving them away)! I also noticed that I have duplicates of a number of items and lots of things I have never used. I am lacking in lipsticks and foundation so may have to go shopping ;)
Have the following TAs due to them being old/gone off:
31: Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara
32: Collection 2000 Glitter Eyeliner
33: Gosh Eyeshadow Duo
34: Rimmel Colour Mousse (smelt really bad)
35: Rimmel Colour Mousse (see above!)
36: Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer
37: Maybelline the Falsies Mascara
38: Maybelline Pulse Perfecion Mascara
39: Rimmel Stars Single Eyeshadow
40: Miss Sporty XXLong Mascara
41: Maxfactor Liquid Eyeliner
42: Rimmel Khol Eyepencil in Green
43: Rimmel Brown Eyebrow Pencil
I really liked the Maybelline mascaras and the mousse concealer
I am going to GA the following as they don't seem to have gone off/never been opened:
44: Benefit Her Glossiness
45: Rimmel single Eyeshadow
46: No7 Eyeshadow Quad
47: Rimmel Colour Loose
48: Eyeko Minty Fat Balm
49: Boots Fresh Lip Licker
50: Wella Styling Gel
Sorry for the long post!!
Edit: I also just noticed that I only own 2 blushers, neither of which I use. Have some others in some palettes. Was thinking about buying one of the Benefit kits with dandelion and posietint in as I would like to add some more colour to my face! Any thoughts?0 -

I have a UU - Superdrug Coconut and Shea butter body scrub WBA, positives were it lasted a long time and made my skin soft but negatives were it didnt feel very scrubby!....I have loads of other body scrubs to use up first but would buy again.
UU - M&S bath fizz melt....WNBA I have a few of these and tbh honest doesnt do anything for me, they were given to me by my daughter as an unwanted present and I have to use them with other products as they are pretty useless.
Got a body spray spluttering and looking forward to getting something new out of my stash:-)0 -
I took a big Boots box and 2 Molton Brown Airline goodie bags down from the top shelf in the bathroom while I borrowed a step ladder to change the bathroom lightbulb. They are definitely more than ten years old
. Some of the MB stuff seems to have gone off but I have yet more lip balms and sensitive eye stuff to add to the bathroom cupboard stash.
So it is probably a good job I let out the massive Timotei mum gave me a few years ago. Oat and peach smells nice, but not as nice as the mystery shampoo and conditioner I trialed earlier this year which I would love to know who made it as it is gorgeous and I WDBA if I knew what it was.0 -
The Avon moroccan oil is really nice and lasts for ages, conditioner is good too.
I found 2 sealed bottles of Ralph Lauren Romance in a drawer. I've already got 2 started bottles of it and as I barely wear perfume anymore am thinking of selling it on eBay
Used up the end of a face scrub today, Avon one but bottle too ancient to identify any more than that!Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

So I have a question.
After using up some leftover Pantene shampoo as hand soap I need a new view on shampoo. I have used many shampoos but find all but head and shoulders make my scalp very itchy after a few uses. Do you know if it a particular ingredient? When I speak to my hairdresser she advises against head and shoulders, apparently you can also use it to clean the limescale off taps!,
So any thoughts or advise? No purchasing unnecessary toiletries

Can you? Excellent, that's my new bathroom cleaner then! I found H&S was ok, I don't like the smell though and a friend of mine is allergic to all shampoos EXCEPT H&S!
I personally have a slightly itchy scalp most of the time which gets horrendous at times for no reason at all! I use whatever shampoo I like now and have a Weleda scalp oil for when it gets really bad.
I know the ingredient 'Sodium Lauryl Sulphate' is bad for you, 'Sodium Laureth Sulphate' is not as bad, the first one is in cheaper shampoos and the second is in most shampoos. I think Aussie is ok i.e. has neither. HTH x
EDIT: Just looked at my bottle of H&S, it has both of these in, so probably isn't that that's causing your particular trouble....No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I never ever by shaving foam/gel. Always have used spare shower gels that I have.
It may sound strange but I really dont like shower gel lol. I can't really put my finger on why. The textures perhaps?
Why not put them in a pump dispenser and use as liquid hand soap?Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Thanks for the advice, I also have the itchy scalp most of the time but H&S is the least itchy. Where do you find your oil? Does it have a positive effect? I also find my scalp is quite flakey as though it needs a moisturiser around the hair line. Might try a trial sized AuzzieNo purchasing unnecessary toiletries
