  • I'm a bit disappointed in myself, I have gone from not buying beauty products to eating out quite a bit, so I need to curb that habit too!

I'm really in need of a new foundation so going to place my order with my fav. SA soon, but I think thats it.

I have no UU's as of now but I'm about to hop in the bath and going to see what I can use up x

any ideas of what to do with face moisturiser that doesn't agree with face? other than use it for body lotion (I've enough of them to use up haha!)

    xxx

    Use as foot cream?
I've got really dry skin just now, so I'm making an effort to moisturise, even though I'm not a big fan. Instead of buying a new hand cream for work, I've taken my home bottle in, and am now using Body Sh0p body butter as hand cream at home. It smells lovely, and is just as thick.

Sun tan lotion has been promoted to body moisturiser, and I'm working through the near empty perfume bottles first.

This is a really good idea especially as you are using the sun lotion as body moisturiser. I must admit that I don't actually think of sun lotion as a toiletry as I associate it with holiday things and leave it in the cupboard for years!
Have painted my nails with Nails inc portchester square with China glaze luxe and lust as a top coat.
Any recommendations for flakie polishes easily available in the UK?

OPI have a new collection due out in collaboration with Disney for the new Oz film. The set contains neutrals, flakies and another liquid sand lacquer. One of the flakies is very chunky and looks like a toddler's art display! :rotfl: The pink neutral is calling my name.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Just been to look at some swatches and I am drooling - some of them are gorgeous.
I loved nail varnish (and shoes) before my daughter was born (now 7) and have recently rediscovered my passion for polish. Ive always steered clear of neutrals in the past as they tended to be too sheer for my liking but am enjoying the newer formulas where 2 coats are enough.

I have an IN to declare, finally had enough Boots points to treat myself to Benefit's Lemon Aid! :D I've heard so many on here raving about it so though I'd give it a go - has anybody used it underneath their eyes as well as on the lids?

Since I got my new job offer, I've been treating myself to lots of new "work" clothes as I'm going to have to go out and meet people around the hospital and want to make the right impression. Not that I dress like a slob for work but our office is a bit more relaxed so I can get away with wearing black skinny jeans, a nice top and boots some days! Need to curb this spending though as I'm supposed to be saving money!

Have a preemptive IN to report; I'm almost out of my Revlon Colorstay foundation that I wear for nights out/special occasions etc. So I picked up some Mac Pro Longwear from ebay for way below retail.

Long time user of Lemon Aid, but not tried it under eyes, cannot use anything other than foundation there (that I have tried so far) as it seems to sit there and look baggy. Try, but using a weeny brush so you don't pull the skin perhaps.:) Others may be able to help later.

  • More UU to declare:

TBS microdermabrasion - WBA very scrubby and find its good for getting rid of some of the marks from my post 40 outbreaks.

10ml Clarins Extra firming botanical serum WMBA - I had started using the clarins extra firming range and was enjoying it when my skin started its hormonal rage where it reacted to everything, think I have another mini in my stash to give it a proper try now that my skin has settled again.

Pantene time renewal shampoo - think its been discontinued now but WNBA this used to be my favourite but my scalp started reacting to sulphates so I switched to sulphate free shampoo. The last of this was used up to clean the bathroom bin.
