Justin Selig has given responce to OFT post we will be going in a group not individuals, you can read the rest on 1180

I'm just copying the response from Justin here for (as the lawyers say) completeness:

Just in response to Jackie’s earlier posting – we are not suggesting that people make individual complaints to the OFT – they will not accept it. The correct forum for individuals to complain is firstly to the bank itself, and then once you receive your rejection letter, to make a formal complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
We have prepared a sample covering letter and partially completed complaint form for you to use in sending your complaint to the FOS.
We are preparing on behalf of everyone, a formal submission to the OFT. This is currently being drafted by our barrister and will be ready hopefully some time next week. This is not a complaint on behalf of an individual but a carefully worded letter setting out all the arguments on behalf of the borrowers as a group outlining why the bank was not entitled to do what it has done.
I have spoken to a solicitor within the OFT who confirmed that they would look at our submission. We will also be preparing a similar submission to go to the FCA."0 -

Apparently that is incorrect.0 -
Got Email now yesterday a draft letter to send to our solicitor to authorise them to send of origonal case files for when the conveyanceing was done to lawdepartment. dont expect that will be done for nought? ££0

Surely if a group action is to be undertaken, there will need to be at least two.
One for commercial investors (BTL) and a different on for consumers (homebuyers).0 -
BR Landlord
I got time details from OFT web page not sure when the date starts from, sure its ok otherwise we would of been told.
It does cover everyone theres 3 categories, depends which one you come under. If landlord is not your only source of income you will have a different case than someone just being a Landlord, then you have the Residential side.
I'm not sure about that interpretation. Having two sources of income doesn't mean that one of them isn't a professional source.
I don't know for sure, but it could well be the case that those renting out property (landlords) are by definition excluded from the OFT - definitely worth looking into....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
From what i,ve read is that everyone is classed as a consumer0

It might be that its presented in blocks of categories depending which one you come under.
1 Landlord only
2 landlord with aditional source of income
3 residential0
