    Debt-free and Proud!
Thinking of you today Zippy, hope you have some good news (and pics!) and that we can natter on the next thread. Sending lots of positive thoughts and best wishes your way, as well as a dodgy hug or two :grouphug:

Sorry to hear you were ill at work Star - does anyone there know? Have you told your manager yet? Hope you have a sympathetic team and that your symptoms are reassuring but not excessive

Jox - it might be worth speaking to your GP about the possible fibroid, I'm not 100% but I think the first course of action would be a scan anyway?

Kynthia - I know it's easier said than done but please try not to worry about a lack of symptoms so early on, I didn't really have any major nausea, etc until 6 weeks + but then they definitely made up for lost time! I hope you and OH can come to a compromise on a holiday you'll both enjoy. I like the odd glass of wine too and thought I'd miss it when pg, but actually the nausea and lightheadedness has definitely put me off - I wake up most mornings feeling hungover anyway :rotfl:

Big hugs to Becca, TL and Birdie - wishing you all the reassuring-but-not-over-the-top symptoms in the world :rotfl:

no amyfoo they dont and I dont want to tell until I have too. I dont think anyone heard me. Why cant I be sick quietly? Also if i had said i was sick they would have sent me home and not let me back for 48 hours so just had to get on with it. luckily i felt better after throwing up :)

I have a scan date but I am going to phone and see if i can change it :)
Just take each day as it comes. :)

    Hello ladies,

Well, I've got to troop off to the doctors tomorrow as I've been having really bad abdominal pain all afternoon. No bleeding though so hopefully it's just wind or something!

I nearly threw up a couple of times today - once when brushing my teeth and also on the bus on the way to work. I wish I had known I was preggie when I was coming back from hols - I could've snaffled some sick bags off the plane!

Good news is that I got a call about my first midwife appointment this morning. It's next Thursday so hopefully I'll find out from them when my scan is too :j

Hope everyone is OK, looking forward to zippy update!

Hungry kitty - the website for shewees, if you know what they are, sells fancy sick bags with an absorbent gel that that solidifies the vomit and neutralises the smell. It's called Quezee pouches and particularly aimed at those with carsick children. That way there's no spillages and smells when your child is sick in the car and you can't stop as you're on the motorway. I've got a couple myself already, not that I have children, but I tagged a couple onto an order I made. :)

    Hello girls yawn so tired.....

I haven't had a great day I have been bleeding again. Not much but hate it.

Hope its my little sac of blood they mentioned at my Early Pregnancy Scan leaving and making bean more comfortable but I am worried.

As I have a scan Thursday they won't move it forward unless it gets really heavy - lets hope that won't happen.

Bigzippy - hope all went well and looking forward to hearing about your scan.

Hopefully she had a great scan and is busy telling all her friends & family the good news;)

Samtoby - Hoping the bleeding dries up or stays light. Take care of yourself. It sucks that they are going to make you wait until Thursday.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting! Thanks for thinking of me :A

The appointment(s) (joint scan and booking in) took forrrreverrrrrr and by then I was ravenous and then letting dogs out before going on a shopping spree and out for tea :) Only got home again after 10!

All was well. I'm officially 12+5 (I thought 12+4 based on my BBTs so not too shabby) and official due date of 8/01/14! :D

I'll attach a pic in a bit, it's on my phone and I'm currently on my computer looking online at maternity stuff ;)
