Got away with drinking mocktails last night OH is hungover to hell but I feel great! Told just our closest friends last night who made sure no-one else twigged... until one got drunk and emotional and he kept hugging me and kissing me, just had to act like this was normal!

Hello all, been on holiday this past week so have been off the radar. We had a lovely time but DD slept really badly one night - didn't settle til nearly midnight and was up again at 6am :eek: Luckily she seems to be back to normal now we're home. I was very very tired and weepy after just 6 hours sleep though!

TL hope scan goes well today (and that I'm remembering rightly that it is yours this morning :A)

Birdie yay for 3+ !!! I've been drinking ginger beer which looks vaguely alcoholic and has fooled everyone on 3 occasions. I did manage a glass of Pimm's on holiday though

Hi lilymay - I got my scan paperwork through on Friday so my 12 wk scan date is Weds 10th July. And in the meantime I have a reassurance scan this Wednesday coming.
Feeling nervous... it was at this point last time that my miscarriage was picked up. I'm trying to feel positive but get the wobbles every now and then.
Yesterday was hubby's birthday and thankfully I felt well all day so I enjoyed it. We live in south london suburbs and did a road trip to the south coast, complete with a walk along an empty beach, ice cream, fish and chips and a fly past from a Vulcan bomber at hastings. Got back at 9pm and I got straight into bed exhausted!! Today we're going to BBQ at my folks, with in-laws too.
Best wishes to everyone whose feeling ill or worried this weekend xx

Hey everyone,

Still feel sick so hoping the bleeding was just bean making itself more comfortable. Bit worried still but I am hoping that the blood was nothing to worry about. I will call the Doctors tomorrow - not got my booking in appointment until the 24th. I have got a scan Thursday so wonder if they may bring it forward so I can have some reassurance.

Hope everyone else is doing well and beans are growing nicely.

My bean is 9mm and has a heartbeat of 128bpm
I cried like a !!!!! soon as she so casually pointed out the little heart fluttering away lol

So so happy, feel really reassured and now I think I'm happy to wait til 12 weeks for another although ask me again in a few days when the paranoia kicks in x

Lovely news TL What does that date you at? 6+5? Does that tally up with your dates?

Sam - Symptoms are a good sign Fingers crossed something happens for you tomorrow.

Re: Drinking in pregnancy. I don't, at all. But I've read that anytime before 18 weeks is the most dangerous because of all the development. After that time it's mostly all just growing. Avoiding alcohol Isn't a problem for me as I don't have the social life you lot do! Something for you all to look forward to

Glad things seem to be calming down Sam. I had bleeding from 8-11 weeks, which stressed me out no end, but all is still fine at 22 weeks now, so hopefully it'll be the same for you too.

Lily - I have another early scan on the 24th June.

Samtoby - I hope you get your reassurance scan, I think it will take a great weight off your mind.
