Hi dipdap I hope you are well, If I order BS and it's delivered by UPS they usually leave it with my neighbour.

My 3 have just arrived all together :D Now lets see whats in them .

Thanx, I'm hoping they just leave them in the cupboard.
Just had my SIL on the phone to say she'd received a cancelled e-mail yesterday so she assumed hers had been cancelled and one randomly turned up this morning. She's said UPS usually leave her deliveries in her porch if she's not in.
I told her to log into her BS account and check the actual orders and she then realised one of the 2 was dispatched (silly girl!) so she's now a happy bunny :D

    Morning all

Thought I had explain why I have gone a bit quiet.

After being told mum only had couple of weeks because so poorly she has now stopped deteriorating again, which is good news but unfortunately as the hospice is for actute patients and she has now plateaued she will have to either go in nursing home or come home.

I can't let her go in nursing home so home it will be but I will have to be there almost 24/7. Not really sure how it is all going to pan out, awful sinking feeling inside how I am going to manage but I will.

Sorry have missed birthdays tweets and midwinter. so belated wishes from me.

Big hugs to logie, and spirallingdown and 3dogs.

And massive thanks to Iamsohappy for the BS glitch all 5 of my orders arrived complete this morning. I see couple of posters thanked me for the glitch so wanted to put the record straight, not my find.

By the way David, if you are nice to me I might send you something to give Mrs David. seeing as you didn't get yours and have been cheering me up on the late shift.

    Hoping you manage OK TS:)

I won't be sending David. anything as he's never nice to me on the night shift.....he keeps reminding me about how old I am:D

Good morning, have a good few pages to read back, Logie sounds like your needing a big cuddle today so take a me day and while your in the bath just make a mental list of all the great achievments you have made lately, on a more clinical thought pred can and will affect your emotions :o so knowing the reason your feeling a bit low can help, really are wishing you all the best and that you feel better this evening. happy birthday to sarahdol75 DS the big 10, double figures:D

Please don't be pushed into doing something that you don't want. Have the pallative care team agreed that it is in her best interests to be moved?

I was told that hospices have two sections, one for those who are close to the end and another for those who are not so close. Maybe that isn't all of them, but I would want to know that their encouragement for her to be moved was in her best interests.

Thanks artha, I did read you have been having health problems but results ok? Hope it stays that way.

By the way think David has totally the wrong image of me. ;)
  • Oh my goodness Tiny - as if you don't have enough to worry over. Never even thought about this sort of thing happening when someone goes into a hospice. I hope you get something sorted out quickly and that you can manage (which I know you will) sending you hugs and hope you're ok :A
