Had a bit of a scare but, touch wood, it's not worst case scenario:j. I'm fighting some sort of infection/inflammation which isn't showing up on normal tests but it may just be a question of leaving things to settle down of their own accord.:)

Thought I had better explain why I have gone a bit quiet.

After being told mum only had couple of weeks because so poorly she has now stopped deteriorating again, which is good news but unfortunately as the hospice is for actute patients and she has now plateaued she will have to either go in nursing home or come home.

I can't let her go in nursing home so home it will be but I will have to be there almost 24/7. Not really sure how it is all going to pan out, awful sinking feeling inside how I am going to manage but I will.

And massive thanks to Iamsohappy for the BS glitch all 5 of my orders arrived complete this morning. I see couple of posters thanked me for the glitch so wanted to put the record straight, not my find.

By the way David, if you are nice to me I might send you something to give Mrs David. seeing as you didn't get yours and have been cheering me up on the late shift.

((big hugs)) to you tinyshoes, its an awful situation you are in, have you got help at all, as you can't do it all on your own, if your mum does come home, you will be absolutely shattered. Please take care of yourself. :A

Hard to know what to say Tinyshoes :A

Try and make sure a care package is in place before your mum comes home. Otherwise you will be left to sort things out and you can't do it all. Also the hospice might have your mum for a few days at a time for respite. Take care

Try a good quality honey in warm milk, cooled for the LO, it has amazing healing properties and you can't do any harm with a natural remedy, also if it's congestion that making him cough try a vapour plug in , I have the sudafed one.:)
