Thanks, just getting myself all worked up. Actually really could do with the break. Have been soooo tired the last couple of weeks. At least now I know why.

Not going to drink at all on holiday, will be careful with the food, but hopefully we are going to a hotel that has got reasonable reviews on holiday watchdog, so think we should be ok.

The one I did was Boots own one, it does say in the instructions that it is 99% accurate, so am optimistic that it is true!

hiya i work in a hospital and you cant get a false positive so you are defo pregnant-congrats and big hugs
also drs wont do another as other posters have said as they are so accurate now, even really cheap ones, so a boots one will be fine

Am a little worried, as we are supposed to be going on holiday 2 weeks on Saturday. Need to check with the doctor if it is ok to still go. If we cancel it now we lose our deposit, but wouldn't risk it if it it going to harm the baby at all.

:rotfl: When I found out I was pregnant I was packing for my long-awaited skiing holiday! And it was great, although tender boobs on snow bumps was a bit of an experience.
I knew NOTHING about pregnancy but reading books and getting advice from everyone in the pregnancy club was heaven sent, as my doctor had no clue about anything. Be prepared for very little medical intervention/help/advice/appointments
And enjoy it. They say it goes quickly, although the past four months of my life have been the longest EVER. Five to go...

just to say congratulations i went on holiday at 6 1/2 months pregnant bit of a shame because we was all incusive so all the drink was free and could not drink it, but i had a big bump and i still wore a bikini and i think i looked great. i never had to hold my belly in :) well couldn't . the only thing i would advise is watch the water unless its bottled. including ice in your soft drinks. as you cant take unti dioreeha (excuse the spelling ) tablets when pregnant.
also use bottled water for brushing teeth. enjoy your holiday x
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!
