I have a question though - I have installed TCPMP and the AAC codec to allow me to play MPEG4 movies. It does though seem to take AAAAGES to copy video files over to this phone. Is this normal or is my phone duff?


Yes if you use the activesync to transfer files especially for films it takes forever, I just take the micro SD card out the phone pop it in a card reader and do it direct to the PC its alot quicker.

I tried that with an MPEG4 file and the phone refused to play it when I put the card back in - said it was incompatible. Works fine for MP3 files though.

Can I ask a quick Q, I have a motorola on Virgin, some of you have had your mobile unlocked when you've bought £30 of call time. Would virgin unlock my mobile if I've used £30 of call time or would I need to buy a new £30 of call time or does it only apply to new phones. Thank you.

If you have put at least £30 of airtime on the account, which you obviously have, they will unlock the phone for you - just contact customer services and you will need the phone IMEI number. It doesn't just apply to new phones and you don't actually have to use the airtime, just have put it on the account.

Don't shout at me when you get told they are out of stock BUT if you ring and talk nicely they have the reconditioned ones in at £29.99.

Not as good as last week but still a steal for what you are getting.

I just received my lobster mobile today, TV & DAB Radio works fine , very good quality mobile, loads of extras functions on it, I put a micro sd in it to give me more memory for mp3 music & video clips, cant fault it on anything so far . got to be worth the money for the phone....................very happy
