And having done that I normally prise the top off, fill bottle with water, give it a good shake (with top back on or finger/thumb over top), and tip into bowl with additional hot water for one final small/non greasy washing up session
Ah cool, thank you, will try that too, I normally have a spare of that sort of thing, but not on this occasion typically. Hey ho.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
And good evening chaps and chappesses, been spending again today at the local cooooop but did get a reduced price chicken for £2.65. Chopped off the legs and the breast part and roasted them for an hour. Breast bit for our dinners Monday, legs for OH and DS Tuesday. The carcase with wings attached has made some lovely chicken stock for future use. So although not a NSD I still have been very MSE today.
NSD-wise, I spy a couple of possibles lurking on the weekend horizon so watch this space...One life - your life - live it!0 -
Evening all. Well yesterday wasn't a NSD - was going to be until I got a £2.50 off Finish Quantum voucher for Tacto in the post - current deal in Tacto was 40 for £7 at half price but ran out on Tuesday and my local Tacto is so rubbish I decided not to miss out. So picked up that and some Inn0cent smoothies on offer last night (as they are the only ones OH likes and it's hard enough getting fruit and veg into him) Did however get £17 bill down to £7 with coupons and vouchers
I'm claiming today as NSD #12 and hope you won't think I'm cheating. I bought my friend a b'day gift the other week, but she texted today to say she'd need a smaller size after all - but where I got prev gift had gone out of stock, so had to order elsewhere, which was slightly more expensive. However, since I previously had already counted spend for said gift, I'm not counting today - IYWIM?
Cold and rainy here today, fed up with this rubbish weather, feels like it's rained since they announced the hose pipe ban on 2nd April last yearFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

[QUOTE=HeadAboveWater;60147289]Sunday will be a spend day as I'm taking OH and the girls out for dinner (my birthday and I get to treat them to grub?! What's going on there?!?
)QUOTE]
There does seem to be something wrong in how thats worked out HAW!
If it was me, I might have mysteriously forgotten my purse when the bill arrivedHopefully someone else could pay or we'd all be washing dishes!
I am happy to report today was NSD # 14 and if the weather turns out as badly as the forecasters have forecast then I might hibernate tomorrow and bag another.
Wake me up when spring gets here!No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

I would like to increase my target to 15 NSD's
Although I spent some money today, i felt guilty for only having one present for my sisters birthday so i brought her a pack of haribos & cookies.
Although yesterday I had #NSD 11, we went out for a meal but my mum paid for me & my drinks.
& thank you Cheryl , what a lovely message!
Thanks for everyone , this really has inspired me,
Its honestly changed my life as i used to just spend to make myself happy but now, i feel quite proud when i don't spend money when I could have done.
Also, instead of keeping the small amounts of change from the stuff I have brought laying around, I put it into my saving tin...
helping me save a little bit at a time
