I see Freeby has already updated the front page, but I thought I'd still do the round-up so everyone can see who's responsible for the new NSDs :)

Beanielou – well done on number 18 :T nothing tates better than a free lunch ;)
    Bt1 – well done on number 9 :T
Charleybear – double figures reached and target met. well done on number 10 :T
Cw18 –I hit number 12, which was my target. New target set to 16.
Debtbuster – Number 3 bagged. Slow and steady is fine :)
Debtfreefuture – 3 more bagged, doubling your figure to 6 :T Keep going and you may surprise yourself with how many you get this month :)
Delilahh – well done on number 8 :) but a shame it had to come about that way :(
    Dragon – 12a hit. Congrats :)
Emloves – Well done on number 16 :T I see that's 1 above your original target which is great :)
Evertheoptimist – well done on number 8 :T
Fedup – well done on staying in budget and gaining number 15 :T
Flowerofscotland – into double figures with 10, which means target met :T Good luck with your new target of 14 :)
Freeby – up to 19 already!!! do you ever spend any money or have you forgotten how? only 1 more to target :)
Marmite – congrats on hitting your target of 15 :T and good luck with your new target of 18 :)
Nargle – and number 6 takes you to your half way point :T
    Slowlyfading – number 12 caught :T
The Boss – number 9 bagged. almost into double figures now :)

HAW - I don't think many of us could say we only ever come out of the shops with what's on our list and nothing else... I know that's something I very rarely do ;)
Pennysaving - ouch to the possible cost of repairing the van. But :T to having a strong son to push the vehicle home :D
Kerri - Well done on staying away from the Internet shops. I find they can be more tempting than the 'real' ones as there's soooooo much more choice :o

And now I'd best go throw some clothes on and head down the road. I had a non-fasting diabetes test on Tuesday evening, and was told to go back for a fasting one - so I've had nothing to eat or drink since before I went to bed last night! And then it's home for food and drink before I go and give blood this afternoon!! Ashamed to say I think it's the first (possibly 2nd) time in 8 years, but I was ruled out for a couple of years due to pain killers I was taking and then I lost my job so don't have regular access to donation point any more. There's one a bit closer to home next month, but as I'm going gorge walking 3 days later I decided that probably wasn't the best of times to go.... Need to get back to it as I'm only a couple of donations away from my silver badge (25, which my Dad got), and it's then going to take some doing to get to my Gold (50, which he didnt' and I'd love to beat him ;)).

EDIT: Blood test on Tuesday gave a glucose reading of 6.3, and above 6 they like to do a fasting test. Test this morning gave a reading of 5.0, which apparently is fine though they said the recommendation is to be under 5. So look at my diet for this (as well as lactose intolerance and cholesterol - I'll soon be losing weight as there'll be nothing left I can eat :rotfl:) and go back for a retest in 6-12 months, but told it's best to keep an eye on it as my Mum was diagnosed with type 2 in her early 60's (I'm now later 40's, and apparently it's common to be diagnosed post 40) so that puts me firmly in the 'at risk' group!

Don't feel so bad now :rotfl:

Thanks for the update :D And well done on giving blood!:T Something I've never done but my bro and sis always do - sister got a special stickie in her book for her 40th time last week! :D

Managed to make my way round town today at lunch without spending so that's me up to no 8 :D:D

Afternoon all, I'm popping back in to report NSD #11 after two days of being hit by unexpected but essential spending :(

It does give me a realistic idea of how I can get on though, this has been the first time of trying and plucked a target out of the air. I don't think 15 would be unreasonable with the right planning, but can make a good effort regardless. Thanks for all encouragement and inspiration cx

    Hi everyone

Just popping in with an apology in advance as there will be no update tonight, sorry...

I've been working solidly since 8.30 this morning and won't be stopping until much later tonight so no time for the update.

Freeby, this is going to carry on for next week as well, unfortunately. I'm not sure I'll be around very much so may not be able to do either update next week, I'll let you know.

Happy NSD-ing everyone and I'll see you when normal service is restored again:)
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • Evening everyone,

Just popping in to declare NSD #4 has been a tough week and I wasn't sure I'd get any this week.

    Aiming for number 5 tomorrow.

Well done to those that are in double figures, that takes some determination lol

Please don't worry spoon, it is easy enough for me just to read the posts and update the front page as I go along :)
Hope things calm down a bit for you soon. :)

Shout if you need next Thursday covering too. Not sure which your other night is, but the only one I definitely can't do is a Saturday.

just don't work so hard you collapse!!!!

I was popping in to declare today as NSD #12a

I've been and given blood (donation 21 which sounded OK, but the first since 2005 which is a bit ), and walked there and back (a mere 6.62 mile round trip) which means I can now eat potato and meat pie with chips for tea without feeling guilty ;)

Not one today as I had my hair cut.

spoon do take care of yourself.I hope work settles down a bit.

cw18 I have given blood in the UK.Here in Switzerland they don't accept blood from Brits, because of the Mad Cow Disease saga.I'd love to be able to give blood, but can't.

    Thanks for my prize freeby!
