Yesterday turned into a spend day.:o
I'm really hoping to get one today and will do unless there's local rhubarb at the market,as I love the stuff.:DThe market here is on Saturday and Wednesday,so couldn't have got it yesterday anyway.
Oh and yesterday was the first day of my holidays.I'm off until a week on Wednesday, yippee!:j:D
Have a great weekend everyone!0 -
Morning
I have woken up to snow, in London, in March
A spend day for me yesterday. I needed milk and catfood.
I tripped over the cat last night the result of which I have a thick lip (ouch to drinking a hot cuppa this morning) and a bruised cheek bone so I can confidently declare I won't be spending any money today or tomorrow because I won't be going out looking like I do or with the weather as it is. Today is NSD 12 and tomorrow 13.
One of my items on e-B*y finishes tonight. An unwanted Christmas present. I stuck it on for £9.99 and it's gone up to £22.01 :j:j . To think I kept it stuck in the cupboard (like so many other things) as well.
I need to complete my expenses claim today to make sure I get paid. Unlike MPs, we have to produce all the receipts and we have a deadline, once a month, to get them in (month end) and according to my spending diary (yes, I am still maintaining it, to my surprise!!) they total £292 a lot of money to me. I do use the same credit card (and sometimes my Nectar card as well) to make sure I get all my points though.
Have a good weekend. Stay warm and take care if you need to go out and about.

Thanks to the ever-efficient see-dubbya (thankyou Cheryl
) keeping me in line, I can declare my target met *stretches imaginary long bow & twangs ere ole with imaginary string as I release imaginary arrow that falls on my foot, across & not imaginary pointy end into, thankfully :rotfl:* No 14 came a-knocking at the door to come in from the rain yesterday
I'll not increase but will continue to gather the wanderers, as BabybabyBaby Child has not yet decided what we will be eating for the celebratory dinner (or where...or when come to think of it :undecided; it's probably going to be hm lasagne, but I could be wrongHaving three little darlings, I decided a l-o-n-g time ago that the Berfdee Chyled would choose the menu & the rest of us would have to eat it without complaint, cuz it was far far cheaper than doing a party :money: Mates often came round for 'tea' & our place became The Place to hang out as they grew older, so please don't think they were hard done by..it's their pals who gave me my user name
