Ennessdee Towers is festooned with green bunting and posters of shamrocks and little men in green with pointy hats clutching pots of gold. The BBQ will be fired up at sundown tomorrow with a tempting array of goodies lined up for cremation. Plus loads of potato-based dishes for the veggies amongst us. Just need Igor to confirm who he has booked for the entertainment....

I heard it was a group called the 'Randy, Dandy, Screaming Leprechauns'

Unfortunately today was a spend day, I brought my boyfriend some chocs and number 2 of his new comic collection for his last birthday presents. Tomorrow may be another spend day as im at an all you can eat to celebrate his birthday with the rest of his family - i'll see if I can stick to drinking water though. Saying that I do have change for my saving pot (hopefully)

Kerri - surely not the same group you had for your last significant birthday? After the shenanigans they got up to, I thought they were not due for release until 2019???

(Ah, so that's why Igor was frantically trying to stuff a huge metal file inside a fruit cake the other day....)

That's the ones...though I had to read about it in the papers the day after, one glass of whatever Igor had brewed and that was me out cold for the night... even worse, I missed the cheese and pineapple on sticks (though i think someone should have explained to Igor they were supposed to be cocktail sticks and threading them onto the branches of a distant relative of HP's Whomping Willow was not the best idea...:eek:)

  • Evening, I unexpectedly bagged a NSD today. I opened the curtains this morning to nasty sleety rain and decided there was nothing I needed so badly it couldn't wait!

So I have not achieved anything practical with my day but am up to NSD# 10. :j

Will have to venture out to the supermarket tomorrow though.

:j I have made my first sale on e-B*y :j. I logged into Paypal and I have already been paid! :D

I have a couple of questions please. Is the difference between the selling price and the balance available PP fees or e-B*y fees or both?

Tomorrow I will package the item ready to take to the Post Office on Monday.

I have relisted the other two items that didn't sell (third time lucky!) plus added another 3. Shall I leave the money in the PP account for now? I am not desperate for it at the moment but it may help reduce my credit card that I continue to live off as I am trying to break this cycle. How do the funds get transferred to my current account?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance.
