How on earth I managed a NSD today, I will never know.

I've been on a temping contract for a year and 4 months and on Monday I was told that my contract was not being renewed past 29th March, so obviously I started worrying. Financially, I'm not too bad, but I didn't want to be in a position where I would have to get into a spot of trouble again.

However, after having a second interview on Wednesday, I have been offered a fantastic job, doing what I've been trying to do for some years now and they offer study support too! No more commuting which I have been doing on and off for the last 3 years.

And in my excitement, I totally forgot to buy the celebratory bottle of wine and just made my way straight home (habit now, with my NSD's) and it was only after I'd eaten my tea, I realised I'd not bought the bottle!

So today, I am clocking in - a rather unexpected:

    7/12 NSD's and another 3-in-a-row!

Congratulations on the new job Delilah.....and of course the unexpected NSD - they're my favourite kind :D

And I managed to get to the end of a very tempting day and bag #7/15

Really fancied a fish supper & bottle of wine tonight (classy, eh?) but managed to come straight home and have dinner from stuff in the freezer.

I do love this challenge. Thanks again to all the lovely keeping-us-up-to-daters!!

    Morning all,

NSD# 5 for me yesterday. I'll keep trudging along and hope for a run in the next two weeks ;)

Off to catch up with the thread now. Large coffee by my side and an hour for a mooch of the site, first time in ages!

IKEA ones are usually quite long (and cheap!). I have to chop quite a bit off the bottom to make it fit along our bath. I was just thinking that we need a new one so might venture out that way next week.

Morning All, sorry I have been MIA the last couple of days, its been busy! No NSDs to report as had to shell out for DD's school disco & roller disco last night (!), Comic Relief Non-Uniform Days at school for all 3 of my kids, petrol, haircut & dye for little ole' me & a bit of food.

Hoping for a NSD today but need to visit my MIL as she had a stroke on Mothers Day and step-grandson who is only 4, who has pneumonia :( They are both in the same hospital.

On the plus side a friend of mine gave me a beautiful cream wool jacket from Coast yesterday and my DH has received a successful PPI claim from MBNA. :D

Have a lovely weekend everyone, albeit a soggy one!
