    Woah bright font :P

I'm definitely going to work my way through the list although I shall also be adding in 'sugar soaping the tiles in the kitchen' as they are grotty as you like (from the lady who used to live here).
  • I'm in - thank you Dusty :A

Like the look of the lists - this place STILL needs decluttering and I really want to move this year :o

I've deleted what isn't relevant (no dining room here or cooker hood or vases to sort, etc., etc.!!) Just as well really as it's Parents' Evening tomorrow so I doubt I'll be home before 8!!

    Night all, sleep well xx

    Monday - Kitchen

    Basic Flying
    Vacuum the floor
Wipe the work tops, remove all things which don't belong here
Clean the sink, drainer and taps

    Deep Cleaning
Clean the hob, under all the dials too

    Decluttering
    Sort out a hotspot

Thanks Dusty, and also to Natty for last week's list.

I'm in again this week, though I'll be skim-flying round the rest of the house each day as well as doing the basics and any bits of the deep cleaning that I haven't already done this year. I haven't got a mop so I shall be down on my hands and knees to clean the kitchen floor tomorrow! :o I've been decluttering since January and most of our belongings have already been sorted, but odd things are still turning up to be eB@yed (12 items re-listed this weekend, though no new ones) or taken to the CS or tip. And I've still got some enormous frogs hiding in the paperwork :(

DH is using up leave again this week so only working Monday and Friday. He says he intends to spend most of the time packing his things in the garage but will take me out on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon :A

I hope this week turns out to be less stressful for everyone than last week was, and that anyone who's feeling under the weather (for whatever reason) has something good to look forward to, or gets cheered up by something nice happening unexpectedly.

Thanks for the lists last week Natty and Dusty for this one. Hmmm. Looks like I may be able to achieve Levels 1,2 and 3 tomorrow, although I wouldn't want anyone to hold me to it.

I've also got to change a bedroom, clean two bedrooms and a shower room, to say nothing of a bit of hoovering. Fingers crossed. (At least it means I won't be dining on frogs for 24 hours. *urp" )
    Better is good enough.
  • Mopping

    Monday Mopping it is then!

LW- tell me more abut your tomato bread - I love flavoured breads nom nom

Wishing Pigpen a better week than weekend

And thanks Natty and Dusty for the lists - house would never look this good without your [STRIKE]Size 9's [/STRIKE] encouragement :D

    My own prophetic words...

DS2 rang at 05:05 this morning to tell us that their first baby, due on 13th March, had decided to put in an early appearance and arrived safely at 04:26. I could hear the baby squawking in the background even before he got the words out.

I have just entered Nathan, 6lb 1 oz, on our family tree records! He caused his mum very little bother - her waters broke late last night, they went to hospital at 02:15 and she just had a couple of parrots and some gas'n'air - lucky girl!
    :T
We are going to see them all tomorrow morning as my DH is on leave tomorrow. I can hardly wait!

Flying today will therefore consist of a quick S&S and then sewing up the knitted blanket which I was going to do next week :rotfl:
